Rafe and Hope revel in
what a beautiful night it is; Hope says she feels strange, then starts laughing
over whether she should have said ‘strangely’ instead. She sits down and asks him if she looks
strange, saying she feels disoriented (but has a hard time saying it); she
wonders what Deimos’ “ovulation” is – then corrects herself – his
“motivation.” They start kissing, then
realize they are being watched by a passerby; they laugh. Rafe tells her this is the best day of his
life, and says he wants this everyday, as he gets on one knee. She asks what he’s doing; he says proposing. He grabs a vase, with a ring around it, and
says it’s perfect; Hope says she can’t marry him…at least, not yet. She tells him it’s not because of Beau; she
says she just can’t marry him until Deimos pays for everything he has
done. She tells him they need to go find
Deimos; Rafe hangs onto her legs.
Deimos declares, “let the games begin,” as he watches the remaining guests at the party. Lani tells JJ it’s getting hot in there; she says she feels “out of it”… almost like when Snake gave her Halo, but says that can’t be it. Gabi forgets where Chad went and asks Sonny if he has seen him; Chad and Abigail sit, stone-faced, side-by-side on the bed. They start talking about moving along, and getting along… and Abby starts laughing again; Chad says everything is so wrong, then, forgets what he was going to say. She says maybe she can remember; they talk about her not being able to read minds, very seriously. Chad asks what they are doing there; Abby says she doesn’t know. She stands up and sees the rings on the dresser, and suddenly remembers, they were renewing their vows; Chad agrees, but then he remembers she left him. She tells him that’s the biggest mistake she ever made; they both admit they don’t like being without each other. They decide to go ahead and renew their vows right there; Chad says he never stopped loving her, but didn’t treat her fairly when she came back. He says he will always love her, and always wants her to be his wife; he takes her new ring and puts it on her finger, saying they have a new beginning and asks her to be his wife again. She says okay; she tells him she loves him and is sorry for the mistakes she made, for not trusting that he would love her no matter what, and for making decisions for him. She tells him she wants to be his wife and they kiss.
Sonny and Gabi ask what kind of a party this is; nobody is serving food. Eli overhears and says he’ll see what he can do; he goes over to talk to Deimo, but he forgets what he was going to talk to him about. Lani and JJ worry that maybe they have come down with Jungle Madness; Gabi gets a call from Ariana. Sonny tells Gabi he still can’t find Paul; Gabi remembers Chad is missing too, then notices Lani and JJ making out in public, and goes over to confront them. They get lost in their argument; Lani asks where Chad is anyway. Sonny tells Gabi that she and JJ need to kiss and make up, and he pushes them together; JJ kisses Gabi on the cheek, as she slightly protests, then they start hugging, while Eli and Lani and Sonny watch in astonishment. Lani tells JJ that Sonny told them to make up, not make out; she leaves angry, and Eli follows her. Gabi asks JJ if he isn’t going after her; he says she needs some space. He turns on a song; Gabi says that’s the one they danced to in his hotel room, and they start dancing again.
Eli tells Lani, if JJ doesn’t know what a catch she is, he’s an idiot; he tells her she is beautiful and smart and way out of his league. She hugs him; they start to kiss. Sonny says he is going to look for Paul; Deimos says maybe he should help… he goes after him. Sonny gets dizzy and passes out in the hallway, sliding down the wall; Deimos reaches down for the amulet. Sonny wakes up, screaming, “who are you?” He pulls off Deimos’ fake beard; he tells him he is going to prison, as he fights him off for the amulet. Deimos tells Sonny not to make this harder than it has to be; Deimos grabs for the amulet again, pulling it off his neck. Sonny screams, “no.” Deimos asks why he even wants it and then asks when the last time he saw Paul was; Sonny asks what he did to him. Deimos tells him he won’t even remember that he was there. JJ hears a scream; Gabi tells him she saw Deimos when she was coming out of the bathroom, and he ran when she screamed. Abigail and Chad hear footsteps running down the hall; he looks out and says it’s Deimos. They discuss what to do; Chad decides to go after him, and Abby follows.
Eric tells Nicole he feels like he has been drinking; he says he can’t go down that road again. She tells him he isn’t; he says he can’t talk to her about “him” – he looks up and sees Daniel. Nicole asks what he’s looking at; he tells her and she sees Daniel too. Eric says he wishes he could trade places with him; Daniel says he it was his time. Eric argues that it wasn’t; Daniel tells him he wants him to have a good, productive life. Eric argues that he doesn’t deserve that, saying it wasn’t an accident because he decided to get drunk; Daniel tells Nicole that she needs to forgive Eric and to help him forgive himself, to give him peace of mind so he can help others. Nicole says she doesn’t know how to forgive Eric; he took him away from her and she lost Holly too because of it. Daniel promises her, she will get their daughter back; he tells her there is no more looking back. He says what matters is what is present and real; he tells her Eric is a good man and what happened was a tragedy for him too. He tells Nicole she needs to help Eric recover from it; she says, for him, she will try to forgive him. She kisses Daniel (and, considering he is a ghost, he kisses her back pretty passionately).
