06-15-21017 (Thursday) The Confession

Jade says absolutely nothing, as Claire explains to Joey all about the sex tape idea, her recording it without their knowledge, and her uploading it to Theo’s computer.  She orders Jade to admit it, but Jade still says nothing.  Claire says for once Jade has nothing to say… Joey tells her she needs to own this if she is truly going to be more responsible; Jade admits it was all her.  She says she knew a sex tape would get Claire more exposure; Claire says that’s a good choice of words.  Jade says she did it because she cares about her; Claire scoffs.  She says it’s no wonder she doesn’t have any friends; she says she hates Jade, adding that she never liked her in the first place.  She starts calling her names and belittling her; Theo tells Claire to stop.  Joey and Jade leave.  Theo tells Claire that he is sorry he didn’t believe her and jumped all over her without hearing the full story; she tells him she doesn’t accept his apology.

Joey takes Jade to the park and they sit down on a bench; she berates herself, saying she is where she is because of the dumb things she does; she calls herself a pathetic wreck.  Joey tells her he didn’t help when it comes to way she feels about sex; he tried to act like there shouldn’t be any feelings attached, but there are, he says… there are, he adds, and he says he’s sorry.  Theo asks why she won’t accept his apology; she says because he chose to accuse her of lying to him, showing he doesn’t trust her – he doesn’t think she is a decent person with morals and values, she phrases her love for him in the past tense, and adds, if she were Ciara, he wouldn’t have doubted her for a second.  She tells him she didn’t really want to be famous; she just wanted her music to be heard… she wanted people to know what she felt love was, adding, she thought it was this, but she was wrong.  She goes in her room and shuts the door.  Joey tells Jade that he still wants to be her friend, even if it has to be at a distance for a while; he suggests, next time she comes up with one of her schemes, she run it by him first.  She says okay.

Chad and JJ manage to get the knife away from Paul; they wrestle him to the ground.  He is burning up and he passes out; Gabi checks on Sonny.  He is bleeding from his forehead but seems to be okay.  They carry Paul back to their camp site; he wakes up.  Sonny coaxes him to drink some water; he talks to Paul about all they have overcome together.  He says they can get through anything because their love makes them strong; he begs Paul to come back to him.  Paul closes his eyes.  Sonny continues to wipe his head with a wet cloth and talk to him; Paul eventually opens his eyes again.  He looks more present.  He is; Sonny starts to untie him.  Paul tells Sonny, if he loves him, he will keep him tied up for everyone else’s sake; he warns, the sickness is still inside of him.  Gabi takes over tending to Paul; Chad and Sonny discuss whether or not they are going to be okay.  Sonny asks what they are going to do; Chad says he doesn’t know and he is just glad they are there with the people they love.

Lani confides in Eli, that she isn’t so sure about her relationship with JJ anymore; she is frustrated that he doesn’t want to move things along.  Eli tells her he is glad she felt that she could come to him to talk about it; he asks her if she has tried talking to JJ.  She says they have good chemistry… she knows JJ enjoys being with her; but, she says, that’s all it is for him and she needs to protect her heart.  Eli tells her that JJ must be “loco” if he doesn’t truly have feelings for her; he begins to compliment her, a lot.  She laughs that he hated her at first sight; he says hate is a strong word.  He tells her if JJ doesn’t see what he has in her, she should forget him and adds that any guy in his right mind would be lucky to have her.  He says he is man enough to admit when he’s wrong; he tells her JJ is a good man, and smart too – he says he’s sure he knows the good thing he’s got.  JJ walks up, saying, “you’re right, I do.”  Lani tells JJ they need to talk; she says he is too distant and it feels like he is pulling away more, emotionally.  She asks if she is wrong; he says, “no, you’re not.”  He tells her he is just so scared of hurting her, because he seems to hurt everyone he cares about; she asks if that’s all it is and he says, yes, that’s all it is.  She tells him she isn’t worried about him hurting her, so he shouldn’t be worried about it; he says okay.  They kiss, acknowledging that they are good.

Steve tells Angelica that his sister doesn’t have an enemy on the planet; no one would think of hurting her, except Angelica, he says.  Apparently Justice used to be Angelica’s boyfriend and Kayla “stole him away.”  He asks her why she is going after Adrian now; Angelica says revenge is a dish best served cold.  He questions her about Howard, asking when the dude will be back; she tells him there is no “dude” and sits down at the desk.  Steve mocks her for hiding behind a false identity because she can’t fight fair; she smirks that Adrian can’t fight her own battles.  He asks why she cares about that modest paper that can barely turn a profit; she says it was her step-son’s legacy (Jack), Steve’s brother.  She says it’s all about her rights, and revenge, which she will have whatever it takes.  She tells him they all before gear up for the fight of their lives; he tells her she is making the biggest mistake of her life and she says we’ll see about that.  He leaves.

06-14-2017 (Wednesday) The Madness Subsides

Abe and Hope are in shock; they can’t believe that the kids made a sex tape together.  Hope says they need to talk to the kids about this; Claire can’t believe Theo left his laptop with his father.  Hope and Abe storm in the door of the kids’ dorm-apartment; they tell them they saw the video.  Theo says he doesn’t know what video they are talking about; Abe explains how he found it.  Claire tries to say she didn’t know about either, but Hope calls her on it and she confesses, saying okay she knew about it, but she didn’t DO it.  They asks what; Abe tells him… a video of them having sex.  Theo isn’t sure how to respond.  He defends Claire; he goes to her asking her to tell him she didn’t do this.  She says she didn’t, but the way she says it isn’t convincing; he leaves, upset.  Abe goes after him; Hope scolds her granddaughter.  Claire explains to Hope that she only knew about the video “after the fact.”

Hope is stunned to find out that Jade would record them like that; Claire is honestly remorseful for allowing it to happen.  Theo discusses this with his father; he thinks he might know why Claire may have done this – he tells Abe Claire is concerned about her failing career.  Abe gets it; Theo says he is going to talk to Claire now, as Hope comes out.  He tells Claire that he wants to believe her, but he “knows” her; she asks what he means.  He explains his understanding about her wanting more likes, more fans, and says he just doesn’t know if he can believe her. Hope takes Theo’s laptop and has her tech guy make sure the video is gone.  She tells Abe that Claire swore to her she didn’t have anything to do with making the video, and says she believes her.  Theo is convinced more and more that Claire did this; he tells her she has ruined everything now.

Joey talks to Jade; he can tell she’s feeling depressed.  He tells her to wait just a minute; he comes back with a cup of ice cream.  She asks how he knew that was exactly what she needed; he says because he knows her.  He tells her he is proud of her for trying so hard lately to be responsible.  She asks if maybe he could talk to his Uncle Roman about her working at the Pub; Joey says that’s not a good idea.  She asks if it’s because he is still in love with her.  He tells her not to start that again, reminding her that he wants to remain friends, but that’s it; she says okay, but doesn’t believe it.  Joey and Jade go back to the apartment; Claire tells Jade to admit that the sex tape was all her idea.

Steve goes to see his sister; Adrian hugs him and begins to cry.  She tells him that she misses her son; he assures her Sonny will be okay.  He tells her he is going to check out that creep who is trying to take the paper away this afternoon; she thanks him.  Steve breaks into Sabastian Howard’s office; Angelica Deboreaux walks in. Sonny tells JJ that he has to find Paul before the others do; he says he is the only one who can get through to him.  JJ says this fever is crazy; talking won’t work… JJ says, if it comes down to it, they will do what they have to. Sonny takes that to mean taking Paul out, and says “no way in hell.”  Chad makes Gabi rest her ankle; they smile awkwardly at each other.  He says the island is crazy; she agrees.  Then she asks him if they should talk about what’s going on with them; he says there’s not much to talk about… they are together there on the island, and they have feelings for each other.  She asks about Abby; Chad says she has made it clear what she wants.  Gabi says it almost scares her to think they might have half a chance, after they discuss how much their kids love each other.

JJ comes over and tells Chad that Sonny has gone off looking for Paul on his own.  JJ tells Gabi that he is actually happy for her, as long as she is happy; he says he understands that his sister has decided to move on.  Sonny finds Paul and does his best to talk him down; Paul is holding a sharp knife – he tells Sonny that he can’t help himself, he just wants to hurt somebody.  He grabs Sonny and holds the knife to his throat.  Sonny tells Paul he knows his heart, and “you known mine” he says; Paul loosens his grip, until he hears Chad calling out.  Chad holds a gun and points it at Paul, who is holding Sonny as a shield; Sonny begs Chad not to shoot Paul.  JJ shows up next to Chad, also holding a gun; Paul cuts Sonny and throws him to the ground, and starts swinging the knife at them.

06-13-2017 (Tuesday) EXPOSURE

Kate yells at Andre to get downstairs; she asks him if they are getting married or not.  He looks horrible, and sips his coffee as he moans; he says he can’t even think of a lifetime with her bellowing up the stairs at him.  He says he spent all night worrying about his brother and doesn’t want to think about this; she says there’s no point in worrying because he can’t help Chad right now.  What he needs to worry about she says, is that there is something left of the company for him when he gets back.  He gripes that the board doesn’t think he is fit to run the company; he says he might sue for defamation of character.  She tells him she will caress his battered ego once they get married; she says the board trusts her, but they need a DeMira… and he is the only one left.  She says, together, they can make sure DeMira Enterprises is still in existence; she tells him to get dressed so they can “get this show on the road.”  He hands her a pre-printed prenuptial agreement; he says his father had a bunch of them printed up to have on hand.  She says her judge-friend has agreed to see them, although she doesn’t know why; they tell the butler they need him to come with them, to be a witness.

Claire looks at her stats; they are going down, not up.  She wonders if Jade might be right about the sex video; she asks herself, “how desperate am I?”  Theo asks his dad if he’s heard anything about Chad and Lani; Abe says no, but says everything that can be done is being done.  Theo asks if he thinks that find them; he says he does.  He tells his dad he thinks it’s his fault that Ciara left town; Hope comes to see Claire.  Claire tells her she misses Ciara; she says her other friends give her advice, but it may not be good advice.  She tells Hope how frustrated she is about her lack of attention; she says she wants to be on magazine covers and such.  Hope says fame isn’t everything; she says she should be focusing on how her music fills her soul.  Theo tells his dad that Ciara admitted she was in love with him; Abe asks Theo if he loves Ciara too.  He says he does, as a friend; he tells his dad he is in love with Claire.  Abe says they shouldn’t get too serious; Theo tells him it’s too late… they are already serious, he says, and he doesn’t see anything changing that.

Hope asks Claire if she would give up her music if she didn’t get famous; she clarifies, would she be content just playing in the coffee shops and such for the rest of her life.  Claire says she would; she’d be happy as long as she could make some money writing songs and playing here and there.  Hope says good, so if that big break comes, great; but if not, at least you know in your heart you are doing what you are meant to do.  Claire thanks her for the talk and kisses her grandma goodbye.  She plays her guitar and sings and hauntingly beautiful song “cold as the morning sun shines down on me” – she tells herself her grandmother is right and she just needs to keep writing songs.  She goes to her device and presses buttons to delete the video.  Theo comes home and she tells him that her grandma helped her see that she needs to concentrate on her music, not on being famous… he says good; he agrees.  He kisses her and goes to get a drink of water; Claire calls Jade and tells her she deleted the video.  She asks Jade to reassure her that was the only copy, but is upset when Jade mentions it’s probably still in the trash bin folder.  She asks Theo for his computer and he tells her he left it with his dad at the station so he could look at the photos he got for him; Claire is noticeably disturbed.  Abe is looking through the pictures and accidentally deletes one, distracted by the missing plane; Hope tells him just to go to the trash folder and it will still be in there.  They click on the video of Theo and Claire making love; they are shocked.

The judge sentences Nicole, after weighing all factors, to “time served” and gives her 300 hours of community service and fine of $250,000.00; Nicole hugs Chloe and thanks her.  They begin to talk and Justin pulls Nicole aside; he tells Nicole that she doesn’t need to talk to Chloe right now.  She says she was thanking her; he says he knows she was also about to ask for more time with Holly.  She defends her right, as Holly’s mother, to spend time with her daughter – he says it’s just extremely bad timing.  He tells her not to make Chloe sorry she helped her; she tells him he’s right.  Brady is talking to Eric; says it should be Deimos behind bars, not Nic.  Nicole walks in and tells him she’s free; she hugs him.  She turns and tells Eric that she appreciates what he did, by talking to Chloe, and thanks him for helping her out; but, she says, that’s as far as it goes – she still does not forgive him for killing Daniel.  He says he knows, and leaves; Brady looks at Nicole like, ‘what the hell?’ and says, “really?”  He tells her Choe’s cooperation was a gift; he reminds her of how Eric risked his life to save her from Xander and bring her back to him.  He says we all make mistakes; she says she knows that, but she just can’t.  She says all she wants to think about is them; they can now have everything they wanted… except the hardware store, Brady says, claiming that he had really big plans for that hardware store.  They hug.  Chloe takes Holly home; her mother shows up with Parker.  Parker is happy to see his baby sister, but asks when she is going back to Nicole; her mom says she wants to know the answer to that question as well.  Chloe hesitates, saying Nicole just got sentenced; her mom tells her to stop making excuses.  Chloe says Holly is better off with her, and she believes Nicole is coming around to seeing that; her mom tells her not to fool herself.  She says all Nicole has ever wanted is a baby, and she won’t ever stop trying to get her child back; Brady tells Nicole they’ve already had two miracles, and says they may just get a third and get Holly back.

Andre and Kate meet with her friend; the judge is surprised when she says they want to get married.  Kate tries to make it seem real, saying the heart wants what the heart wants, you know?  She tells her it needs to be right here, right now; Andre says he wants to make an honest woman of her, as he smiles.  Kate tells her friend, after the honeymoon, they will get together for a nice, long lunch to discuss her next campaign contribution; the judge starts reciting the speech, “We are gathered here today…” – the butler exclaims, “dear God.”  When the judge asks if Kate will honor, etc., and “cleave only unto him,” she responds, “I do… as long as the money keeps rolling in.”  Andre laughs and agrees; they tell the judge they joke a lot.  She pronounces them husband and wife, and Andre leans in to kiss Kate; she throws her hand up in front of her lips and tells Harold (the butler) to sign the papers.  The judge hands the final copy to them and they dart out the door, saying the video conference started 4 minutes ago; they hope it’s not too late.  They make a toast, at a table in the Square, after she is appointed the new CEO of DeMira Enterprises, to “Mr. and Mrs. Andre DeMira.”  Just overhears and exclaims that it is the end of the world; they laugh and say, “it is just the beginning.”

06-12-2017 (Monday) Deimos Plots Revenge

Steve asks Kayla to roll their breakfast date into a lunch date, but she tells him she has to get to the hospital because Tripp is going to start shadowing her today.  Steve asks if she has doubts about it; she says she only has doubts about him living with Jade.  She thinks Jade will use Tripp to try to get Joey back; it scares her that she knows Joe killed Ava.  She tells him, “there’s just something about this girl.”  Jade thanks Tripp for buying breakfast; he says she doesn’t have to thank him.  She reminds him he is also letting her live with him for free; he says it’s a fair trade for her helping him figure out that Kayla killed his mother. She says she would do anything she can to help take Kayla down.  She thanks Tripp for lunch and asks him why he’s always so nice to her; he says he likes spending time with her and asks if she wants to go out sometime.  She is surprised; he admits that he knows she is still in love with Joey.  He tells her they can still be friends, it’s okay; he leaves.  Steve sees Jade and sits down to talk to her; He asks if she and Tripp are getting along; she tells him he asked her out.  Tripp arrives at the hospital; Kayla invites him to joing he on rounds.  Steve tells her that she has to let go of Joey; he says he has seen an obsession go really wrong.  She asks if he is saying she’s like Ava; he says no, but tells her he does think she is a little lost.  She doesn’t like what he has to say and gets up and leaves.

Maggie is with Chloe, ogling over Holly; she says being with her makes her feel close to Daniel.  Chloe says she’s glad she can spend time with her, adding that she is so glad to have “her” little girl back.  Maggie tells Chloe again that she needs to do the right thing here and understand how Nicole feels; she reminds her that Nicole is being sentenced today for kidnapping.  Maggie tells Chloe goodbye; Eric shows up.  She tells him if he is there to try to get her to change her mind about custody, he is wasting her time; he tells her Nicole will always be a part of Holly whether she likes it or not.  He says if she gives a statement are Nicole’s hearing, it might make a difference.  She asks if Nicole sent him and he says no; he asks her if someone took Parker away from her, how far would she go?  He leaves; she seems to be considering what he said.

Justin tells Nicole about Sonny’s plane going down; she tells him she is very sorry.  He says they are using all of Kiriakis resources to find it; he tells her he may have to leave, but until then he is going to do everything he can to get her and Holly back together.  He tells her the arraignment judge is the same one who ruled against her in the custody battle, Duncan; she figures she is going to jail for sure.  Justin tells her not to get ahead of herself; he gets a call.  It’s Brady; Justin hands the phone to Nicole.  He tells her that Eric told him she turned herself in and asks what’s going on; she says it’s all going to be fine.  He tells her she’s lying and says he wants the truth; she tells him she’s scared that she’s going to lose everything.  He says she is the toughest woman he knows and tells her to just fight for her daughter, and for him; she says hearing his voice gives her strength and promises to fight like hell.  He says he loves her, and she him; the officers come in to escort her to her hearing.  Justin gets another call; Deimos walks in as Nicole is seated.  She stands up; he tells her she is beautiful, even after a night in a holding cell.  She says she would kill him here and now, if she weren’t about to go before a judge; he tells her none of this would have happened if she had listened to him.  He tells her she made a mistake, but says he is willing to forgive and forget, if she is come and be with him.  She tells him to get lost; she says she’d rather sit in a cell for the rest of her life, than spend another minute with him.

Nicole’s arraignment begins; the judge asks if she would like to say anything in her defense.  She stands up; she tells the judge she knows she is guilty because she took Holly and ran, explaining that what she did was for her baby girl and she doesn’t regret a second of it.  She explains that she couldn’t say goodbye to her little girl, saying her choice was to defy the court or defy her love for her daughter; the judge seems impressed.  She tells Nicole, however, that she has to follow the letter of the law, and proceeds with sentencing; Chloe walks in and says, as the legal mother of the child in question, she deserves to be heard.  The judge agrees; Chloe says Nicole is a good person… she says she was her best friend, and at times, her only friend, whom she loved as a sister.  She says she has had a hard time dealing with what she’s done, but she understands Nicole was crazed with grief; she says she knows what it’s like to have your child kept from you, and says she doesn’t have it in her to blame her for what she did.  She urges the court to look at Nicole, as she does; as a mother who would risk her freedom, even die, for her child.  Nicole holds back tears.

Kayla tells Brady he is doing wonderfully; he asks if he can go to Nicole’s arraignment then.  Kayla says if she let him go now, he might have a relapse.  Brady explains what happened to him, to Tripp; he tells him he hit the lottery with the Johnson family.  He says they are always there for each other no matter what; Tripp says he is starting to figure that out.  Deimos makes a call; he says he wants to make sure his nephew takes full responsibility for everything and he will make sure he gets the minimum sentence and will compensate him for his loyalty when he gets out.  He meets with a man and says he needs to step up production on this drug, halo; he says once he builds up his empire, he will take out his enemies one by one.  Steve shows up at the hospital with coffee for Kayla; she thanks him.  He asks how things went with Tripp; she says great, he was focused and asked a lot of questions, paying close attention to detail.  He tells her he needs to go to New York to chase a lead on Sebastian Howard; she tells him to be careful and they kiss goodbye.  Eric brings Brady some food; he tells him he did everything he could and hopes it was enough.  The judge tells Nicole Chloe’s plea has given her a lot to consider; she says despite Chloe’s kind words, she  broke the law and that can’t be ignored.

06-08/09-2017 No Show?

NO SHOW THURSDAY OR FRIDAY.

06-07-2017 (Wednesday) The Video

Justin comes to tell Adrian about the missing plane; Sonny was piloting it.  Abe tells Valerie that Eli and Lani were both on the plane as well.  He says there is a possibility the plane didn’t crash; that Sonny was able to land it safely, even if it landed in the water because it had floatation equipment.  She calls Lucas to tell him, asking that he just stay with Arianna and put her down to bed.  She tells Justin that baby can’t lose her mother and Sonny; she’s already lost her father (Will).  Justin does his best to comfort Adrian with stores of the past; he suggests they play checkers, saying, “what else can we do?”

Claire and Theo are trying to decide what movie to go see; Theo goes to get ready.  Jade knocks on the door; she asks Claire if she can use her laptop.  She says she has to download something on it and she’ll tell her about it after; stupidly, Claire says okay, telling her the laptop is on the table.  Theo comes out and sees Jade; she tells him he looks hot.  Claire comes out and tells Theo she will meet him there; Theo takes his laptop off the coffee table; Jade asks if that isn’t Claire’s.  He says no; he gets a call from Abe, telling him about Chad and Lani.  He says he has to go; Claire tells Jade whatever she wanted is going to have to wait now and she leaves with Theo.  Jade imagines a whole other scenario now; Theo finding the video and turning Claire against her.  She says she has to get Theo’s computer.  Thinking she’s being sly, Jade pulls the fire alarm in the Pub; everyone exits.  Claire forgets her purse and Theo offers to go back and get it for her; Jade tries to exchange his laptop for Claire’s while he is gone, but he comes back and sees her holding his backpack.  He asks what she is doing.  She tells him that she saw his backpack laying there and with all those people, she picked it up to keep it safe.  He says he believes her; Claire leaves with her.

Abe tells everyone they can come back in.  Julie and Valerie get in a fight, at Julie’s prompting, at the Pub; Theo stands up and tells them to stop screaming at each other.  He says Eli wouldn’t want this; he tells Julie, fighting with Valerie isn’t for Eli… it’s for her.  He says she should be trying to help him; Julie tells him he is right, and so wise.  She apologizes to Valerie; Valerie says it’s alright.  Abe hugs Theo, telling him his mother would be proud of the man he has become.

Sonny says he is going to find Paul; JJ and Chad stop him.  Chad says if he gets in Paul’s way while he is like this, he will end up dead.  Eli pulls out his gun, saying he isn’t giving it up; Sonny tries to grab it from him and the gun goes off.  JJ tells them both to cool it before someone gets shot; Sonny says he will stay with Gabi and Lani, in case Paul comes back there.  Eli, Chad and JJ go looking for him.  Gabi tells Sonny that it will be okay; she says the guys won’t hurt Paul.  Sonny stands up and tells Lani that he has to go find Paul first; he says he can talk to him… “this thing comes and goes,” he says.  He’s hoping to find him in a moment of clarity; he asks Lani not to shoot Paul if he shows up there.  She says she can’t promise that; she will promise to not shoot to kill though.  He says okay and leaves.

Gabi and Lani talk while they are alone and seem to make amends; Gabi tells Lani she thinks she and JJ are good together, and Lani tells Gabi she is happy for her and Chad.  They hear something; eyes look out from the bushes.  Eli, Chad and JJ come back and tell Lani to put the gun down; she guesses it was just them she heard.  She changes places with Chad and goes looking for Sonny now, with Eli and JJ.  Chad offers to wash Gabi’s hair, saying her wound needs to be cleaned; they kiss again afterward.  Sonny returns with the gang; he says he only came back because they said they would go out looking again first thing in the morning.  They agree to take turns keeping watch overnight in case Paul returns.

06-06-2017 (Tuesday) John's New Mission

Abigail comes into the police station, with Dario; she is worried about JJ, and Gabi, and Chad.  Dario does his best to comfort her; Abby thinks about Chad, remembering a dance they once shared; Dario notices she is thinking of him.  He tells her he can tell by the look in her eyes that she still loves him; she admits she does, but still thinks she made the right choice.  She says this just isn’t the way she wanted it to end; she falls into Dario’s arms crying.  He asks her if she has changed her mind about divorcing Chad now; she looks at him.Hope isn’t happy with Abigail’s news about marrying Dario; she asks if it isn’t a bit soon.  Abby tells her she is trying to deal with the fact that her husband was in love with another woman; she says she is moving on.  She has filed for divorce and she doesn’t care what anyone thinks; Hope wonders what Chad will think when he gets home.  She tells Abby that they will make it home; Abby says, if they are stranded somewhere, she is really glad they have each other.  She says they make a really good team, adding that she found that out the hard way.  Hope tells her Chad might find a way, through this, to give her his whole heart; she says, “or, he could figure out that his heart is with Gabi, 100%.”

Hope comes into the Club and sees Dario's IT guy; she plays dumb, asking what “IT” is.  He tells her and she asks why a club like this would need such high level skills; he asks if they are investigating Dario and Hope asks if she should be.  He then gets really nervous and tells her she should really talk to someone else; she thanks him for the information and leaves.

Chad and Gabi talk about their kids and Chad promises Gabi they are going to get home to them.  JJ sits down by Lani; she jumps at the sudden movement.  She tells him she doesn’t like this creep island; Paul is staring at the fish knife with intensity, holding it firmly in his hand.  Sonny walks up behind him; he asks Paul – in a garbled voice - what he is doing.  Paul stares at him for a moment, then shakes his head and asks what he said; Sonny asks if he’s alright.  Paul says he was just confused for a minute; Sonny takes the knife from his hand and insists he let him clean the fish.  Paul thanks him and stands up; he glares at him from behind.  Sonny serves the fish; Paul picks up the knife discretely.  JJ comes back; Lani asks where Eli is… he says he couldn’t find him, but he found the satellite phone, mangled.  Everyone looks creeped out, except Paul.  Sonny asks Paul what’s with him and the knife; he tells him to put it down and says, “let’s go.”

Gabi, now sitting alone by the fire with her sprained ankle, pulls out the amulet and says it’s the reason for all this trouble; she puts it back in the bag.  Paul sneaks up behind her, after coming back around a big rock; he hits her upside the head with a small rock.  He leaves.  JJ comes back and finds Gabi unconscious; everyone else returns too, Paul being the last.  They wonder who would have done something like this; Paul says it makes no sense.  They all wonder who it could have been; Eli shows up and pulls a gun on Paul.  His arm is cut and he says Paul tried to kill him; Paul runs and Eli goes after him.  They all realize that Paul must have Jungle Madness; JJ and Lani tell the rest of them about the journal.  Chad confirms it.

John tells Marlena he feels better now that he has some food in him; she says now he needs some sleep.  He asks if they can stop off at the hospital to check on Brady again before they go home; she says sure.  He tells her she gets more beautiful all the time and asks if she is going to be able to handle having him underfoot; he suggests they have that wedding they could never seem to find time for.  They kiss.  ISA calls; they tell him they are sending a jet for him within the hour.  She asks if she can know where he is going; he says nothing.  She asks when he will be back; nothing.  She asks if he IS coming back; still no answer.  The phone rings again; it’s Rafe.  He tells him about the plane falling off the radar; John guesses that Paul was on that jet and Rafe confirms it.  He hangs up.  John tells Marlena he isn’t going back to the ISA; he is going to find Paul.

06-05-2017 (Monday) Jungle Madness

JJ and Lani interrupt Gabi and Chad; they tell them the island is a bit more dangerous than they thought.  They tell them about the skull and an old shelter they found; they also show them a journal they found.  Chad asks what they are waiting for; he wants to look for more clues.  JJ begins reading.  May 6 2007; talks about a mosquito bit, fever, inability to sleep, mood swings and violence… May 9th talks about an attack; a woman describing her husband being bitten and then changing, diagnosed with something called “Jungle Madness.”  Chad says he had a brother who got that once; JJ says, “yeah, he tried to kill my parents.”  Lani tells JJ to keep reading.  The woman talks about a doctor who was going to leave the island to get medicine, but he didn’t get the chance; her husband killed him first.  She says she believes he is coming for her next; that is the last entry in the journal.

The group gets a little freaked out; Gabi says what if the man is still on the island… Chad reminds her, this was ten years ago.  He says there is no way the man could have survived all this time.  Sonny shows up asking if they have seen Paul; he says he went to pick some fruit for literally two minutes and Paul was gone when he came back.  Paul appears; Sonny hugs him.  He asks where he went; Paul says he got feeling nauseous and went to the lagoon for some water.  He says he feels better; Sonny says he still doesn’t look well.  Sonny suggests they take a break; he says he’s good and wants to keep working.  Sonny asks again if he is sure he’s okay, and offers to clean the fish for him; Paul snaps at him, saying, “I told you I’m fine!”  Sonny looks at him, and backs off; tells him just to holler if he needs any help.  JJ bends down and notices that Paul has two small spots of blood on the side of his shirt; he asks if he cut himself.  Paul says maybe when he was gutting the fish earlier; Paul begins to hear everyone talking, but it is distorted and garbled.

Dario puts together a crib for Thomas; Abigail tells him he didn’t have to do that, but she appreciates it.  He tells her she can still back out of the marriage at any time; she tells him she spoke to her lawyer today and found out it is going to be six months before the divorce is final.  He says he doesn’t have six months; he’ll be deported and then be dead, he says.  Jen comes to see Abigail in her new apartment; she is surprised to see Dario there.  Abby tells her mom “it’s just an arrangement” letting her in on the secret that she is marrying him to keep him from being deported.  Jen is concerned; she reminds Abby that he looks at her as more than a friend.  She says she feels like she owes him; Jen says appreciation or a thank you note, maybe, but not marriage.  She says he has done a lot for her; he has been supportive and kind, and she doesn’t want to let him down.  She tells Jen it isn’t going to be forever; Jen says it could be years and it’s highly illegal.  She says you are supposed to marry someone because you love them; Abby says she may never find love again after Chad.  Jen tells her she will, but not if she’s in a sham-marriage; she asks what happens to Thomas after he gets attached and then Dario disappears.  Abby says he is her friend; he isn’t going to just disappear.  Jen tells Abigail she could go to prison; she says that isn’t going to happen.  Abby gets a call from the commissioner, who tells her that Dario’s story checks out; he is on every hit list in Mexico.

Andre tells Kate about the plane going down; she is surprised to learn that Gabi was also on it.  She says this has Deimos written all over it; then she says he must be thrilled.  With Chad out of the way, he stands to inherit the DeMira fortune.  Andre tells Kate he loves Chad; he’s his brother.  He says they will find him; he hugs her.  Andre pours Kate a glass of wine; she gets a call from one of DeMira Industries’ directors.  He is asking about the missing plane; he tells her the Board of Directors is writing Chad’s obituary.  She says the annual CEO vote is tomorrow and was supposed to be a formality, but “Mr. Shin” thinks without stable leadership, the company will be vulnerable.  Andre suggests himself; Kate tells him that the Board thinks he is “mentally unstable.”  He calls Mr. Shin who tells him they can’t risk his temperament; Andre tells him he will be at the next board meeting to demonstrate his temperament first hand and hands up on the man.  Kate laughs, after sipping her wine; she says, “a completely mentally stable response.”  She tells him she should throw her hat in the ring; Andre says she isn’t a DeMira… only a DeMira can be CEO.  Kate gets an idea; she asks Andre to marry her.

06-02-2017 (Friday) Bitten

Gabi asks Chad what they are doing; he says he doesn’t know – all the while, they are still kissing.  They both suddenly get nervous, admitting that they wanted to keep kissing, but say that it can’t happen again.  Paul is trying to convince Sonny that they can make the best of this; he tells Sonny they are not in immediate danger and Titan will still be standing when they get back.  Paul says when they get back, he is sure, Sonny will show everyone what a good CEO he can be; he says he is going to catch some fish, and leaves.  Sonny recalls moments of their coming together.  While gathering wood, Paul is bitten by a mosquito.

Gabi is trying to get some peaches; she twists her ankle again.  Chad tears his shirt and wraps her ankle for her; Eli comes across them.  Chad asks how the phone is doing; Eli tells him that couldn’t get it working.  Gabi fears by the time someone finds them, they will all be dead.  Eli sits down by Gabi; he tells her he can see that her and Chad belong together.  She tells him he is just picking up on their history; Eli says what they feel for each other is in no way part of the past.  The more they talk, the more she realizes, Chad has always been the one; they look up and Chad is standing there.  Eli excuses himself; she asks if he heard.  Chad nods his head; he bends down and they start kissing again.  Paul starts not feeling well; he takes off his shirt (he is sweating like crazy).  He thinks he hears Sonny calling him and wanders off in that direction; Sonny comes around a rock from the other direction and wonders where Paul has gone.

Claire tells Jade in no uncertain terms that she doesn’t want to hear anything more about making a sex tape; Jade doesn’t understand why.  She thinks it’s no big deal.  Theo tells Claire that he has booked the same motel room they first had sex in, “The Inn” and tells her he will meet her there after his job interview.  She tells him he is the best boyfriend ever.  Jade seems to be considering take things into her own hands; she finds the room key, which Claire apparently left behind.  Claire comes back for the key, but can’t find it; Jade is place a video cam behind a plant and says she will turn it on with the app on her phone.  She fantasizes about Claire and Theo running into the apartment to tell her she’s a genius; they tell her they are so happy they are going to be famous… Claire says her fans can’t get enough.  Jade smiles to herself and leaves the room.  Claire gives up looking for the key and goes to the room where Theo is now waiting for her; she knocks.  He asks where her key is; she says she lost it.  He tells her he doesn’t think he’s going to get the job at the ice cream shop; she asks why he would want to work there anyway, saying his hands would always be sticky.  He tells her she always knows how to make him feel better; they start kissing.

Victor tells Deimos that he knows he did this; he says he wants to know what else he did behind his back.  He asks what he has to say for himself; Deimos swears he had nothing to do with Xander, and says it pisses him off beyond words that Victor thinks he would.  Victor reminds Deimos that he told him to leave Brady alone.  He says he knows he masterminded this whole thing; he says he can no longer abide by their truce.  Deimos asks if it’s true that Victor has taken him out of power; Victor says yes.  He tells Deimos that he will not let him abuse his family any more.

Rafe and Hope talk about “The Candy Man” – a local drug dealer they have been trying to catch.  He says when JJ and Lani get back, he’s thinking of having them check out some of the high schools.  Rafe gets word the plane hasn’t checked in; he and Hope immediately feel that something is wrong.  Victor makes a call; he tells them the plane disappeared from radar about half an hour outside of Athens.  Deimos mocks Victor, saying that Sonny might never sit behind that be oak desk after all; Victor tells him to get out of here.  He tells Hope he should have never given him a 2nd chance, calling him nothing but a cancer on this house.  Deimos calls someone and tells them he is ready to move ahead with “that other thing” they talked about; he tells them they don’t have to understand, just to make sure his distributors have all the “Halo” they can move.  Asshole (he must be The Candy Man).

06-01-2017 (Thursday) The Arrest

Abigail wonders if she is doing the right thing by marrying Dario; he comes back with a shopping bag of goodies for their new life together.  She tells Dario she isn’t sure how they are going to convince Chad and Gabi that they are really in love; they ‘move in’ to a tiny little apartment together.  Dario gets a text from his lawyer; the immigration officer is going to pay them a visit very soon.  Abby admits that she is nervous; Dario tells her if she is having second thoughts, he will understand.  He says he has to go check on the Club and leaves; she calls her Uncle Justin and asks if he can give her information on a former Titan employee, Dario.  She is wondering if his life would really be in danger if he were deported to Mexico; Justin says he’ll let her know what he finds out.  There’s a knock on the door; it’s just Dario.  She tells him she is not abandoning him; he smiles.  She rehearses her speech and swears she won’t screw this up for him; he says he knows she won’t.  Dario goes to talk to his brother; Abby falls asleep.  She wakes up to Chad telling her she is making a huge mistake; she sits up and shrieks.  Dario comes in and asks what’s wrong; she tells him she just had a bad dream.  She says she thinks something is wrong with Chad.

Lani and JJ make an “SOS” sign out of rocks; they are exhausted.  She tells him she is hating it there; she says the worst part was lying next to him all night and not being able to do anything about it.  She tells him she thinks the time is right.  He tells her he doesn’t care where they are, as long as he is with her – they make a toast to being “partners.”  They begin to make out, laying back on the sand; they find a human skull buried in the ground.  Chad catches two fish; he brings them to Gabi.  She tells him he has to clean them; he says if he cleans them she has to cook them… she says okay.  Oddly, she changes her mind and says she will clean them; she tells him to go away.  She starts looking for the knife and ends up finding the amulet on the ground; she screams at Chad.  She throws it and calls him a liar; he asks if she knows what that thing is worth.  He finds it; he starts talking about choices.  He says everything that has happened has been because of a choice someone has made; he tells her he is going to make a choice now, and he grabs her and kisses her.

Valerie tells John and Marlena that Brady’s cardiac function is markedly improved; she says she can’t explain it.  It’s a true miracle; John and Marlena hug each other.  Brady tells Nicole she is the most beautiful sight he has ever seen; Nicole stands up and kisses him.  He tells her she needs to get out of here; she tells him it’s okay, the police know she’s there.  She tells him the police have decided not to press charges against Eric; he is relieved.  She tells him about his ‘death’ and how Holly saved him; she says her little girl brought him back, and Brady corrects her, saying “our little girl.”  He tells her he just wants to be a family; she says she wants that took more than anything in the world.  Valerie comes in and tells him that his test results are wonderful; they are elated about how well he is doing.  She says he is on the road to recovery; Nicole tells Brady to keep getting better and says she will be back as soon as she can.  He thanks her for saving him; she says he saved her, in every way that counts.  They say they love each other, and Nicole leaves, crying.

Rafe places her under arrest for child abduction and reads her Miranda rights.  She tells Rafe all about what happened on the island; she says Guy can confirm everything.  Rafe tells her that Guy is dead; Nicole begins to cry.  Marlena talks to Chloe and demands her to “fix this” – she tells her to make the charges go away by telling the court Nicole had permission to take the baby; her ton is serious, as she tells Chloe, “do it now.”  Rafe tells Nicole he wishes there was something he could do to make these damn charges go away; Chloe walks in the door.  Rafe says he will let them talk; Chloe tells Nicole she doesn’t know how they got here… Nicole says they are here because she took her baby from her.  Chloe reaches out for Holly; Nicole steps back.  Chloe tells her they are going to take her anyway; she holds out her arms.  Nicole tells Holly how much she loves her, and promises that she will get her back; she hands her over to Chloe, knowing she has no other choice.  Chloe leaves; Nicole sobs.  Rafe comes back in and tells Nicole he has to take her to the holding cell; he gets up and hugs him, still sobbing.  He holds her.

05-31-2017 (Wednesday) Brady's Heart Stops

Lucas tells Adrian that he has to go into the office; he’s upset because it ruins his plans to spend the day with her.  He says his head guy is out with a bad back, so he has to go; she tells him it’s fine.  Kayla and Steve come into the Pub and see her; Kayla asks why she looks not so happy.  Adrian tries to deny it at first, but then admits she is not doing so well.  She tells them it’s a little embarrassing; Steve tells her she can tell them anything.  She says the small business loan they took out is being called due; Sebastian Howard, she says is the guy’s name that holds the loan.  Steve says he’ll check it out.  She tells them he wants them to pay the loan by selling him the paper now; she asks them not to tell Justin because he was “in a snit” when they bought the paper.  Steve goes to make a call; Adrian tells Kayla, there is something else.

She tells Kayla that she’s been thinking it’s time to make love to Justin again, but she is so afraid, because she’s different now; she says when she thinks about being intimate, she wonders if he won’t like what he sees… she says there are a lot of scars.  Kayla tells her it’s natural to feel nervous; Adrian says Lucas has been SO patient, like zero pressure.  Kayla says when the time is right, she will know it, and encourages her to take a leap of faith.   Lucas calls; he tells her he has changed his mind about working because he would much rather spend the day with her.  She asks him to meet her back at her room; she tells Kayla she thinks she’s more ready than she thinks she is.  Lucas shows up with a bunch of food for a picnic; Adrian tells him she doesn’t want to go on a picnic.  He says they could take the boat out; she stops him – she tells him she doesn’t want to go anywhere – she wants to stay there, with him.  She kisses him and tells him she needs to be close to him; it’s time she says.  She thanks him for being so patient with her; he tells her he will wait as long as it takes.  She tells him she is ready; they kiss passionately.  Steve tells Kayla he has hit a brick wall; he says there are other Sebastian Howards out there, but none with connections to the paper.  He says he will find this loan shark, noting that he seems to have it out for Adrian and Jennifer personally.

John tells Marlena he is ready to go back and sit with his boy; they walk slowly to the room.  Jen tells Valerie that she wants to write a story about Brady; she is asking for Valerie’s permission I guess.  Valerie thinks she is acting weird; she tries to step around her.  Jen steps sideways, and asks for just a minute please.   Eric stops Chloe from going back in the room when she tells him she forgot her keys; she asks why he is acting so strange.  As Nicole stands there talking to Brady, telling him how much she needs him, the machine beeps; his heart rate is dropping.  It flat-lines.  Nicole lays Holly on top of his chest and tells Brady she is there; she begins to cry, begging him to come back.  Valerie walks in, followed by Chloe and Eric and Jen; they all just stand there.  Valerie tells her she should get the baby off of his chest; she tells everyone “he is gone.”

Nicole places her hand on Brady’s heart… it starts beating again, stronger and stronger.  Nicole cries tears of joy and strokes Brady’s face; he takes a breath.  Valerie asks everyone to leave the room so she can check Brady out; Nicole gives Holly credit for saving Brady’s life.  Rafe shows up and says he has to arrest Nicole, and wants Eric to come to the station for questioning; Nicole asks if she can just stay a little longer to talk to Brady.  He allows it; Eric goes to the police station where the commissioner interrogates him.  The commissioner seems satisfied with Eric’s recounting of events; he is happy that Nicole Walker is back in the states and thanks Eric for bringing her.  He tells Jen they are free to go.  Valerie comes out and says Brady’s breathing is shallow but steady, and his heart rate is strong, even healthy; she says she is running some tests and will let them know the results shortly.  She tells Nicole she can go back in and sit with him; Nicole tells Brady she doesn’t know how long she will be in prison, but she promises him they will be together.  Nicole tells him that she is so happy he is alive and is going to be okay; he opens his eyes and looks at her

05-30-2017 (Tuesday) Deimos Out

Nicole and Eric walk into a motel room; she tells him she is scared but she knows this is the right thing to do… she has to see Brady, even if it’s only to say goodbye.  Jen shows up; Nicole asks what she is doing there.  Nicole explains that she is there to see Brady.  Jen tells her he won’t know she’s there; he’s not conscious.  Eric tells Jen Nicole just needs to see Brady and asks if she can help her; Jen says she would have to go with her, so she could watch and tell Nicole when the coast is clear.  She says she’s a mom and has two kids she would die for; she understands the risk she is taking to see Brady.  She reminds Eric that her grandma broke his father out of jail and “skated on it” as she says, “let’s get going.”

The doctor reviews Brady’s records; John is shaken when he sees a Do Not Resuscitate order hanging on the door.  Valerie tries to explain that Brady didn’t want to put him the position of having to turn off the life support.  John calls Justin; he asks him to get to the hospital right now.  He tells Marlena that this is giving up and Brady doesn’t give up.  Valerie tells John she is still checking sources for another heart, but she says the likelihood is very low.  She says what they need now is a miracle.  Justin assures John that signing that paper was an act of love; he didn’t want to burden him, he says.  John says he is ready to go see him; Chloe steps into Brady’s room.  She tells Brady he needs to wake up to take care of his son; John tells her to get lost when he sees her in there.  She leaves.  Jen sneaks Eric and Nicole in through an employee entrance and walks the nurse the other way, but just as they are about to go up the elevator, Holly starts crying; Nicole takes her to the restroom to change and feed her.  Eric goes in to see Brady (now John is gone); he tells Brady to try to hang on.  Nicole comes back with Holly; Jen tells her to hurry and says she’ll keep watch.  She gasps when she sees Brady laying in the bed, looking so weak.

John tells Marlena that he is sorry for getting angry with her earlier; she tells him she understands and reminds him that she loves him.  He tells her, “I love you too Doc.”  Tears are streaming down his face; they discuss their prayers for just a little miracle.  Eric tells Nicole he will leave her alone with Brady; she begs Brady not to leave her.  She says she and Holly can’t live without him.  Valerie comes by to see her patient; Jen tells her she needs to talk to her, urgently.

Deimos tells Abe he should adhere to the letter of the law; he says he needs to let him go.  Abe tells Deimos he wishes he were dead; Deimos says that’s not going to happen.  Chloe is shocked when she sees Deimos round the corner in the square; she tells him prison would be too good for him, adding, he should go to Hell.  Deimos reminds her that she asked for his help; he says they are a team.  She says they are not a team; he doesn’t care about any one or anything except himself, she adds.  Maggie is upset when she sees Deimos in the house; she tells him he isn’t welcome there… she says this is all because of him; he says that simply isn’t true.  He tells her the second he found out where Nicole was he went to save her.  She doesn’t believe him.  She says Brady is dying because of him and mocks him saying he ‘forgave’ Victor, saying it was only so he would give him what he wanted.  She says she is going to tell Victor that he needs to be removed from Titan, and from the family, adding that Deimos knows he can do it.

Justin gloats when he sees Deimos that Victor held a meeting this morning; he tells Deimos he is out on his ass.  He announces that Sonny Kariakis is now the new head of Titan Industries and tells Deimos to pack his bags and get out.  Deimos laughs, saying this is his house; Justin says not anymore.  He reminds Deimos that he put the house in the name of the company; Deimos agrees to leave, but says this is not over.

05-26-2017 (Friday) Dead Guy

Claire and Theo get home; Theo is still worried about Ciara being mad at him… her bags are packed.  She tells them she is going to Hong Kong to spend the Summer with Belle and Shaun; she tells Theo she can’t be there because of him, adding he knows why.  Wyatt knocks on the door; he asks for Ciara.  Ciara agrees to talk to him, alone.  She tells him he is a liar and a user and she never wants to see him again; she shows him the door.  He leaves, but has a very ugly look on his face; creepy.  Claire and Theo sit, eating ice cream; they discuss why Ciara is leaving.  He tells Claire that Ciara admitted she was in love with him; he assures Claire that he is in love with her though.  She says she is going to go talk to her; he says he should probably stay away and asks her to tell Ciara he is sorry.

Claire asks how it went with Wyatt; Ciara says he’s gone for good.  Claire tells her she will miss her; Ciara tells her she’ll still pay her rent.  Claire promises to leave her side of the room exactly as she is leaving it and makes Ciara promise to come back.  She tells her to call and text and hugs her, but looks somewhat relieved; she texts Theo and tells him he can’t let Ciara leave without saying goodbye.  (Didn’t expect that.)   Hope goes to see her mother; she asks if they can go talk at the Pub.  Hope says sure and they go; Theo watches.  Hope says six weeks is a long time; she asks why the urgent need to get away.  Ciara tells her mom Wyatt wasn’t who she thought he was and she has decided she is not ready for a relationship right now.  Hope hugs her daughter and tells her she loves her; she tells her she is courageous and strong.  Ciara asks her mom to drive her to the airport; she goes to get the car.  Theo shows up; he says he never meant to hurt her and really just wanted her to be happy…he swears he will never lie to her again.  She says she can’t lie to him either and that’s why she told him she’s not okay with just being friends; he acknowledges because she wants to be more.  She says she doesn’t know what she wants anymore; she tells him this isn’t goodbye forever and she hugs him.  He starts rocking back and forth as she walks out the door.

Rafe asks Abigail if they can talk; he mentions Dario.  Hope walks in with Deimos; she says it’s a little gift she brought from Greece.  Lani, JJ, Gabi, Chad, Paul, Sonny and Eli now wander around on an island; Sonny says, after that crash they are all lucky to be alive.  Rafe and Hope go in the office to talk; she tells the guard not to take his eyes off of him.  Abigail tells him she hopes he rots in hell for all the lives he has tried to destroy.  Hope tells Rafe Eli’s contacts gave her jurisdiction to pick up Deimos; she says they have an accomplice who spilled and they should have the paperwork in a couple of hours.  He welcomes her back with a kiss.  Rafe makes a call, but says Xander is still standing by his uncle, insisting he did this all alone; Hope says that’s okay, Guy’s testimony will take them both down.  Sonny says they hadn’t been out of Athens for more than two hours, but he believes they are in the Mediterranean or somewhere near there; but he says so many little islands are scattered about the seas there, there is no telling.

Gabi starts to freak out a little that no one is going to know where they are; she storms off when Eli tells her to stay calm.  Chad follows; he tries to assure her that they will be fine… he tries to joke about not being stuck in a meat locker, but that just makes her more upset.  She tells him bringing up bad memories doesn’t help; he tells her it would just be best for her and everyone else, if she could calm down.  She says she knew he was going to say that and proceeds to tell him how much she hates it when people say that; he calls her adorable, which she finds condescending.  He says it was a compliment; she says she didn’t take it that way because she is very mad at him.  Cute.  He asks her to go with him tomorrow to check out the “lay of the land.”  She brings up snakes, then brings up the amulet again; she tells him he has to believe her because there is a pattern here.  She tells him the longer he has it, the worse things are going to get; he just smiles.

Eli and Paul remember that there is a satellite phone on the plane; Paul goes to see if it survived the crash.  Hope tells Deimos she will never forgive him for what he took from her; she says, “this is payback Deimos.”  Rafe tells Deimos his hired henchman is going to take him down; Deimos says, we’ll see.  He tells Rafe not to hold his breath, smiling all the while.  Paul returns with the satellite phone; Sonny tells him he was worried about him.  Paul laughs, saying it was nothing; then notes that all of Sonny’s new power is useless here.  Chad asks what power; Sonny tells him that Victor is putting him in charge of Titan as of today.  Chad smiles, with a friendly acknowledgment that makes them full out rivals.  Hope tells Abigail that she had followed Chad to Greece, which is why she was there; she tells her that he really was there just for business.  She says Gabi ended up there by accident; Abigail says they will probably end up together anyway.  Gabi stands up in front of the group and tells Chad he needs to get rid of the amulet; she tells all of them everything that has happened to them since he bought it.  Chad walks away.  He returns and tells Gabi that he threw the amulet into the ocean; he says she can frisk him to make sure… she says she trusts him.  He goes back and picks up the amulet from under a bush and puts it in his pocket.

Rafe gets a phone call; their witness, Guy, is suddenly dead.  No explanation; he says they have nothing now on Deimos.  Deimos sits in the interrogation room, hands clasped, smiling.

05-25-2017 (Thursday) Cursed Flight

Kayla tells Joey that Jade told his date that he knocked her up and then dumped her; he says he doesn’t really care.  He says the girl was nice, just not really his type, but he says he will talk to Jade and make sure knows that they are through.  Jade talks to Tripp in the square; they are talking about Kayla.  Jade says she’s a control freak; says she bosses her husband and son around and they just let her.  He says he is going to set her up and make her pay; Jade smiles, saying, then they “holier-than-thou witch” will be out of their lives forever.  He finds Jade and Tripp and asks to speak to her alone; she tells Tripp she’ll be okay and he steps aside.  Joey tells her she needs to let him go; she says she knows he “thinks” they are through, but she still loves him.  She says that girl wasn’t right for him; she claims the girl was tweeting about him like he was some kind of joke.  He tells her he appreciates her looking out for him, but says it isn’t her business or right to interfere.  She tells him she isn’t his enemy and it hurts when he treats her like one; she walks away.

Tripp comes back and asks how it went; Joey tells him he was pretty harsh on her.  Tripp says he understands why she is so messed up, with all she has been through; Joey says he understands that, but warns Tripp not to get too close.  Tripp tells Joey that he gets why he doesn’t want anything to do with Jade now, but says he should understand why she is the way she is and says he thinks Joey owes her an apology.  They, together, go find Jade; Tripp says his little brother has something to say.  Joey tells her he is sorry for being such a jerk and coming down so hard on her; she says it’s okay, and she forgives him, everything.

Steve stops in to see Kayla; he tells her he appreciates her letting Tripp shadow her there.  She says she is excited to have him do it; she says she looks forward to spending more time with him.  Steve asks Kayla if he can steal her away from the hospital for a couple of hours; he takes her to a motel room, where he has a candlelight dinner set up and a hot tub of water ready for her to soak in.  She invites him to come wash her back.  Tripp tells Jade if this plan of his works, Kayla won’t be around much longer.  Kayla and Steve are now on the bed; he tells her the future is looking up… Stephanie is doing well, Joey is growing up and Tripp is coming around.  Tripp tells Jade destroying Kayla for killing his mom is going to be easier than he thought.

JJ, Lani, Sonny and Gabi all go over the evidence they have against Deimos; they decide they need to look for more evidence.  They and Chad start scouring the house; they don’t find much, but do find a vintage bottle of wine and pop it open.  They make a toast, Greek style (breaking plates) to a new beginning; life without Deimos.  Eli and Sonny head back to the plane, telling JJ and Lani they’ll see them there.  Gabi and Chad say goodbye; Sonny calls Victor to tell him that they have Deimos and Xander in custody.  Victor says he isn’t surprised Deimos turned out to be no good; he tells Sonny’s he will back his bid to become CEO of Titan.  Lani tells JJ that he needs to let go of his concern about Chad and Gabi; she says it’s not healthy.  He tells Lani he loves being with her, and his concern is only because of his sister; he says he knows she filed for divorce but if she changes her mind in the coming months, he doesn’t want Gabi to complicate things.

Gabi and Chad talk about what fun they had in Greece and the trouble they’ve had as well; they laugh about it.  She asks if he is sure he wants to hang onto the amulet; he says it’s the reason he came… they realize they have to get back to their “normal” lives once they land in Salem and they both get rather somber.  He tells her at least they get to enjoy the plane right together first; as friends; she smiles, and says yeah, as good friends.  Marlena touches Victor’s shoulder; he’s still in the chapel.  She tells him that Brady is still alive, and John is with him; Victor wonders if the things he has done is his life are coming back against Brady.  They talk about Brady as a young child, how precocious he was; Victor thanks her for helping to raise Bo’s son and says he is forever grateful for it.  He tells her of all the losses he’s suffered in the past few years and says he couldn’t face it if he loses his grandson; she tells him God gives us what we need.  They pray together, for peace and understanding.

Sonny goes back to tell Paul how excited he is that his Uncle Victor is going to support him; Paul says he isn’t entirely comfortable seeing how much he wants this position of power.  Paul is even more appalled when Sonny tells him that he plans to fire every single person at the company when he takes over; Paul questions, even the old lady in accounting he likes?  Sonny says he can’t have anyone with ties to Deimos working for HIS company; everyone has to go.  They prepare for take-off; Gabi runs onto the plane and asks if there is still room on the flight; she tells them it just got a little uncomfortable with the two of them, alone.  JJ smiles.

Chad boards the plane and asks if he can hitch a ride; he says his plane has had engine trouble again.  Gabi is concerned that he has brought the amulet onto their plane; she says it must be cursed.  On the way home, the plane springs a fuel leak in one of the wings; Paul tells them they are looking for a safe place to land.  She asks Chad if he still doesn’t think that thing is cursed; the plane starts going down.

05-24-2017 (Wednesday) A Visit from Daniel

Marlena tells Victor that the doctor doesn’t think Brady is going to make it through the night; Victor says he is calling Mayo Clinic to get him a different doctor.  Marlena tells him all the influence in the world won’t change this now; all they can do is pray.  John tells unconscious Brady that he needs to fight; he tells him to think about his little boy, and Nicole and to come back to them.  Victor sits by Brady’s bedside and holds his hand; he tells Marlena that he doesn’t know if he can take another loss.  He tells her to go home and be with Tate; she leans down and tells Brady she loves him, kisses Victor on the head and leaves.  John reflects back on moments with Brady and tells Brady he’s afraid he didn’t tell him he loved him enough; he asks God to give him the chance to say it to him again.  Marlena comes in; she tells him the doctors are coming in to run some tests and suggests they go get some air.

Victor is in the chapel, praying.  He tells God, He is his only hope; Daniel puts his hand on Victor’s shoulder and says he is there for him, and for Brady.  Victor senses his touch; Daniel is now in Brady’s room, telling him to wake up… Brady opens his eyes.  Daniel tells him that they let him come down to talk to him; he tells Brady he has some heavy lifting to do.  He says he only had one heart to give him and it was supposed to be for a lifetime; he says he better kick his immune system into gear.  Brady tells Daniel he is in love with Nicole; Daniel tells him he knows and he wants her to be happy.  He tells Brady to get better so he can take care of her and his daughter; he tells Brady living or dying is up to him.

Chad tells Gabi that his pilot says the plane is fixed and ready to go; she asks what was wrong… he says he doesn’t know.  She thanks him for the ride home, saying she wasn’t looking forward to sharing a plane trip with the guy who just dumped her; Chad asks if they were really that serious.  She says she thought it was going in the right direction; but once he found out Abigail filed for divorce, he ended it.  She asks Chad if they will ever be able to be friends again; he tells her they care.  She says good because she would be really sad if he wasn’t in her life, after all they’ve been through together; he starts joking about the meat locker.  He begins wondering where Hope is; Gabi wonders if they have found Deimos.

Deimos asks what’s going on; Nicole says they took care of his pal and now they are going to take care of him.  Deimos tries to play innocent, but Nicole tells him she saw the text; he tells her the guards are coming and they need to get out of there now.  He says she and Eric will never make it without him; she remarks that’s probably because the guards are on his payroll.  He denies this and says again that they need to leave now; shots are fired and bullets fly in through the window.  Eric is shot in the arm; Deimos tries to get Nicole to leave with him.  She tells him she isn’t going anywhere with him; he grabs her and Eli bursts through the door, yelling, “FBI, don’t move.”  Lani tells Deimos his man, Guy, “sang like he was on the voice.”  Nicole tells them that Xander and Deimos were working together all along; they check Deimos’ phone, but it’s shot up.  Deimos denies everything, claiming Xander did all of this alone; they ask Xander.  JJ calls to tell Sonny that both Xander and Deimos are in custody; Xander tells the authorities that he did it all himself.  Deimos looks relieved and Xander says he isn’t saying another word without his lawyer.  Hope tells Nicole and Eric they can go get the baby (but she doesn’t know the baby isn’t in the house); a Greek police officer comes in and tells Hope that the woman and man “bolted.”

Sonny asks if he can talk to Deimos alone.  He tells him that he knew he would eventually get him; he says he never bought his story about being a changed man.  He calls him a two-bit crook and tells him he has lost everything now; Deimos tells him not to gloat too much.Hope tells Chad and Gabi that, with Nicole’s testimony, they have more than enough to put Deimos away.  She takes Deimos and says she is escorting him back to Salem on a commercial flight.  Daniel tells Brady he’s got to go; he tells him it isn’t his time yet… he says his heart is strong enough to keep going, and he is too.  He tells Brady that the sun always shines where he is now, but he shouldn’t be in a hurry to get there because he has things to take care of.  Brady’s eyes suddenly open again and Daniel is gone; Maggie calls Eric and tells him about Brady’s condition.  He tells Nicole; she decides they have to go back to Salem so she can see Brady before he dies.

05-23-2017 (Tuesday) The Surveillance

JJ tells the accomplice if he doesn’t start talking, he is looking a doing time; or, they say, they could contact people they know who could drop him into a deep dark hole.  Lani says she will make that call; the man says he will tell them what they want to know.  He tells them about the amulet; he says he screwed up and didn’t even get it.  He also tells them that all he could talk about was this woman he wanted to get to, and get her to go away with him; he says his job was to get a pilot and supplies to an island just off the coast.  He says there are dozens of armed guards and the island is “owned” by a “very bad guy” – JJ shows him Xander’s picture and he says that’s the guy, and he works for Deimos Kariakis.  The helicopter is North of the city he tells them.  Eli tells Hope that he talked to many cooperative people, but not one of them have seen Xander or Nicole; he is almost ready to give up.  He tells Hope he’s just bummed because he and Gabi are over; she asks if it has anything to do with Chad being here.  He quickly changes the subject to imagining Deimos in handcuffs; Hope agrees with that.  Sonny and Paul keep watching Deimos; he is still on the phone.  Sonny gets his gun ready; Paul reminds him that they are just supposed to grab him and hold him for the police.  Sonny says he knows, but when he mentions getting Deimos fired as head of Titan Industries, Paul tells him to check his motives.

Nicole is horrified and the thought that Deimos actually thinks she will fall in love with him again; but she thinks she has no choice but to go wherever Deimos wants to take her.  She starts talking about losing Daniel; how he wanted her to be a better person, and how that woman died with Daniel.  Then Deimos stepped in, claiming to love her just the way she was; she says it was the ‘easy road’ to just be who she was with Deimos, calling it a twisted version of love.  She says, with Holly, that woman who wanted to be better was reborn; Eric tells her that being a mother has completely changed her.  He promises he won’t let her lose Holly.  Sonny tells Paul that he has a right to his motives because Deimos isn’t the right person to lead Titan, he is; he is good with making decisions and swears he will stay who he is, who he was raised to be.  He promises he will never change; Paul says okay and tells him he is with him, all the way.  They look up at Deimos again through binoculars.

Eric points out how Deimos would think that if he rode in here to rescue her, she would be so happy, the two of them could run off and live happily together; she realizes he is right and asks him what she is going to do.  Deimos tells Xander Eric is a liability, but it will be his pleasure to take care of him; he says he can’t wait to see Nicole again.

Brady wakes up to see his dad next to him; he asks if Nicole called back, saying he needs to know that she’s okay.  John doesn’t seem to believe that Brady actually spoke with Nicole; Brady insists she said they were all fine and soon to be on their way home.  Marlena brings in Tate to visit Brady; Brady’s heart rate seems to get better as he plays with his boy.  Marlena goes to get a doctor; as soon as she leaves with Tate, Brady tells his dad he is so tired… John says he will get better, but Brady questions, “what if I don’t, dad, what if I don’t?”  He talks about being a baby, himself, when his mom died; he says his dad did a great job filling in and asks if he will do the same for Tate when he goes.  John calls Paul and tells him to prepare himself for bad news; Paul assumes he is talking about Brady.  He is; Brady’s body is rejecting Daniel’s heart.  John tells Paul not to bother coming back because he won’t make it in time.  He tells him to stay there and do everything he can to get the man who shot his brother.  Brady reminisces with his father until he fades; his eyes close and the machines start beeping.  He is unconscious and barely breathing; the doctors don’t think he is going to make it.

Xander’s helper comes in the room; he has moved the cage back into the living room.  He grabs Eric by the arm and says Xander doesn’t trust them to be together anymore; Nicole jumps on the man’s back.  He throws her off and she lands on the bed, covering her face; he takes Eric out.  Nicole sits up and looks at a set of keys in her hand; Deimos hands a man a gun and asks if he has any questions.  The man tells him he knows what to do; Deimos prepares his own gun.  The man Deimos sent down clocks Paul over the head; Sonny is trying to call him.  Sonny fears something is wrong when Paul doesn’t answer; he goes back to check on him.  Sonny finds Paul on the ground; he gets up and tells Sonny someone knocked him out.  Nicole gets out of the room and knocks Xander out, as he stands in front of Eric in the cage, ranting about what a failure he is; they hear a helicopter approaching and fear it is Deimos.  When Deimos steps in the door, the lights are out; Eric and Nicole step out and turn the lights on.  Eric holds the gun on him, while Nicole tells Deimos they have been expecting him.

05-22-2017 (Monday) The Lie Revealed

*Sincerest apologies... too many pots in the fire;-)

Ciara can't believe that Theo has been lying to her this whole time; she begins to cry as he explains.  He and Wyatt were in computer class together; Wyatt wanted a girlfriend and Theo thought he was doing something good for Ciara.  She’s mad, thinking he figures she’s such a loser she couldn’t find a boyfriend on her own.  He just wanted her to be happy, he swears, it wasn’t that at all; but now, she says, she doesn’t know if it’s even real, this guy she fell so hard for.  Wyatt and Claire just stand there, watching.  Ciara asks Wyatt if it’s true; he just says he is sorry.  He says it shouldn’t matter if they don’t have all that stuff in common; he tells her he wasn’t lying when he said he liked her.  He believes they have “chemistry” and tells Ciara that’s all that should matter; she tells him she never wants to see him again and walks out the door.

Theo goes after her.  He finds her on the park bench; he apologizes again, admitting he was thoughtless and senseless.  She points out that he was lying and scheming; he says he didn’t see it that way.  She sees it as a lack of respect; he apologizes again.  He reminds her she is his best friend; he says he just really wanted her to be happy.  She says he must see her as needy and weak; he brings up what he and Claire have and Ciara finds that insulting.  She realizes Wyatt was just using her, and says he must have thought she couldn’t attract a decent guy; she says she is embarrassed and fed up, and sick to her stomach.  He sits down by her and tells her that he didn’t feel any of those guys on the site were good enough for her; he says he got to know Wyatt and he thought he might be the “right guy” – she asks if he still does, calling this a sick little game.  He says after he saw how much she liked him, he hoped it would just work out; he points out that he did finally tell her.  She says she should have known that something was up because it seemed like Theo didn’t like him; Theo says he doesn’t like him, not after he saw him taking advantage of her.

Ciara says everything about Wyatt was perfect and she thought she was falling in love with him, when really she was just falling in love with Theo; Theo asks what she means.  She tells him to come on, she says he knows how she feels; she mentions the letter – he asks what letter.  She tells him, “the one where I told you I still love you.”  Claire puts lunch in the fridge and tells Wyatt he can go; he says he wants to stay and see Ciara.  He doesn’t think it’s that big of a deal; he says he really likes Ciara.  Claire chews him out for being fake; he says Theo is the one who sold him out, because deep down he is in love with Ciara… not her.  Claire tells him he is wrong; she says she makes him happy.  He tells her she hasn’t heard the way Theo talks about Ciara; he speaks of her like she’s God’s gift.  He says it seems like she is his girlfriend; Claire blows up on him and pushes him out the door.  She tells him to stay away from all of them.

Theo tells Ciara he never got her letter, questioning the statement that she still loves him; she tells him she put the letter in his backpack two weeks ago.  She says she hoped putting the words on paper would help her move on, and she thought it did after she met Wyatt; she says she worked so hard to get back to a place where she could trust people, and feels like she’s back where she started.  She tells Theo, “you WERE my best friend…(he questions the verbiage ‘were’) I don’t know you anymore,” she adds.  Theo reaches over and takes her hand; he says he would never intentionally hurt her.  She jumps up and says maybe she just is a pathetic loser who doesn’t deserve to be in love; she says he talks about how well he knows her, but he doesn’t know her at all.  She walks away; he screams for her to come back and says she just has to forgive him.  When Theo gets home, Claire asks why he couldn’t even tell her about Wyatt, since she is his girlfriend; he just responds with, “I really screwed up – what if she never forgives me.”  He walks into his room; Claire just stands there.

Nicole stomps around the room, angry that she isn’t on that plane with Holly; Eric asks her why she came back.  She tells him it sure wasn’t because she cares about him; it was because of Brady, she says.  He would be devastated if she showed up there without him; she screams at him, “I hate you, damn it, I hate you.”  She figures the pilot has taken off by now and she will never see Holly again; Eric tells her things have a way of working out when you least expect it.  He mentions his talk with Chloe before leaving; Nicole says her “being open to the idea” of shared custody is a trick.  Eli, JJ and Lani wait on the plane; Paul and Sonny take pictures.  Paul calls JJ; he says he’s sending photos of a guy who was meeting with Deimos.  JJ is going to try to get an ID; Deimos is pissed when he looks in the box and sees that the amulet is missing.  He is glad to see that a flash drive, with “valuable information” is still inside.  Nicole is surprised when Eric tells her he has moved back to Salem and is working at the Horton Center; she tells him he doesn’t have the right to counsel anyone.  He tells her he is sorry she feels that way.  She says she didn’t need his help, obviously not considering the plane he brought , which she needs to get off the island, and tells him she can’t wait to get back to Brady and never have to look at him again.  She blasts him again for his actions that night and brings up Daniel’s death; he tells her they need to work together here, and this time she needs to trust him.  JJ gets a name for Sonny; he and Paul are going to follow the guy.  They trick him by asking where a restaurant is; Paul grabs him and puts him in handcuffs.  Nicole and Eric start screaming at each other; she says she is going to kill him.  Xander, coming out of the shower in a towel, hears them and goes in the room; Eric grabs him and starts punching him, again and again.  He better make sure he’s incapacitated this time.  Nope… Xander’s assistant comes in and saves the day.  Nicole tells Xander she saw a text that said, “just finished the deal - will pick up Nicole tonight.”  Nicole begins to think that Deimos and Xander are working together; Eric recalls Deimos telling him he wanted to save Nicole from Xander in Canada.  She wonders what Deimos has planned for her.  He says Deimos is planning on “riding in on his little horse to rescue” her; she questions what she is going to do.  Xander talks with Deimos; he asks what he wants him to do with Eric.  Deimos says nothing; he wants the pleasure of taking care of him all to himself.  Back on the plane, Lani and JJ try to get some answers out of Deimos’ accomplice; he doesn’t seem to be talking.

05-19-2017 (Friday) The Engagement

Abigail admits to Dario that she partly made the decision because she found out Chad and Gabi are in Greece together; since she isn’t planning on getting involved with anyone anytime soon, she figures she can help him out because she owes him.  They go buy a ring.  As they sit down for their interview with the immigration officer, Abigail gets uncomfortable when Dario describes the first time they met and when he realized he had fallen in love with her.  She describes being in trouble and him rescuing her and talks about relying on him and feeling safe with him; then she tells the man she is actually still married, but getting divorced and explains that he fell in love with another woman.  The man excuses them but says he will want to talk to them again to make sure this engagement is valid.

Andre is angry that Chad went to Greece; he tells Kate he tried to stop him and believes he did.  He says that thing ruins the lives of everyone who touches it; the man with the knife tells Chad that he wants the amulet.  Chad denies knowing what he’s talking about.  The man threatens Gabi and Chad gets the box out of his pocket and hands it to the man; the man shakes it and there is a noise so he leaves.  Chad is pissed, thinking he just lost twenty million dollars; Gabi pulls the amulet out of her purse.  She tells him she was looking at it and got nervous when a cop walked by so she stuck it in her purse… (explanation for what was in the box?)  Chad tells her thank you and hugs her; then holds her face in his hands.  It looks as if they are going to kiss; Eli walks in and asks if he is interrupting something.  They explain that they were just mugged; they don’t mention the amulet.  Eli says they need to explain the mugging to hotel security and goes to do that; Gabi tells Chad she will hang on to the amulet so that security doesn’t find it in his room; he gives it to her, she puts it back in her purse, and leaves.

Kate calls and asks Chad if Andre talked him out of getting the amulet; Chad tells her no, he has it.  He mentions Gabi having helped him; Kate says they are good together.  Chad tells her that Gabi is with Eli now; Eli tells Gabi that he can see she is still in love with Chad and says he can’t see her anymore because of it.  Kate overhears Abigail mention the immigration guy; after Abby leaves, Kate asks Dario what that was about.  He tells her that he was told he could just re-file his papers, but he thought this was a chance to get Abby to fall in love with him; he says he’s heard stories of couples getting married for green cards and then falling in love.  Kate teases him and says she knew she liked him; she promises to keep it quiet, adding his marrying Abby leaves Chad free to move on.  She says she’ll get him a great wedding present and leaves.

Eli tells Gabi that he does care about her, but he doesn’t fight losing battles.  He thanks her for being honest with him from the beginning about Chad, and says they might have had a shot if Abigail hadn’t divorced him; he leaves.  As Abby stares at her engagement ring, she flashes back to her and Chad making love for the first time after her return.  Gabi returns to Chad’s room and tells him that Eli just broke up with her; she gives him the amulet back.  He suggests they go get drinks. The kids celebrate getting through their first year of college; Wyatt brags that he got an “A” on his paper… Theo corrects him; Ciara got an “A” on that paper.  When the girls leave the room, Wyatt tells Theo he better not think of telling Ciara he arranged all of this.  The girls walk back in and ask what he arranged; Wyatt makes up a lie about Theo getting passes to the water park for all of them this summer.  Theo cringes when Wyatt adds that they are completely free.  Claire is on the phone with her grandma; she tells Ciara and Theo that her uncle Brady isn’t doing well.  He needs a new heart and they don’t think they’ll find one; Ciara hugs her.  Theo decides to go take a shower; Claire looks upset and Ciara tells her Theo just has a hard time with stuff like that.  They decide to order food and Wyatt orders a bunch of things, then pretends he is going to pay, but realizes that he has not money in his wallet; Ciara says she’ll cover it.  When Wyatt suggests he and Ciara go up to the cabin for a weekend get-away, Theo says it sounds like a terrible idea.  Wyatt tells Theo it’s none of his business; Ciara suggests Claire and Wyatt go get food so she can talk with Theo.  She asks Theo why he is acting so weird about her dating Wyatt; he tells her Wyatt is not who she thinks he is.  He admits that he set them up, that he gave Wyatt all the information he needed to make her like him and that their interests-in-kind are all a lie; Wyatt and Claire return.

05-18-2017 (Thursday) The Greek Tour

Abigail goes to see Dario; he tells her he has a possible buyer for the Club.  She tells him she has thought about his proposal and has changed her answer to a “definite maybe.”  He gets excited and she tells him she hasn’t said yes yet; he gets a call from someone in Puerto Rico.  He asks them to tell him “that isn’t true.”  He tells Abby that a drug lord he caused to lose a lot of money is waiting for his return to Mexico.  Abby tells him she will be back to give him her final answer soon; she leaves.

Lucas and Adrian have Arianna; they run into Rafe in the square.  Chloe approaches and Rafe quickly excuses himself; she says every in this town hates her.  Lucas tells her it’s her own fault; he tells Chloe that she knows Nicole was a good mother and this whole mess is her fault… he says if Brady dies that will be her fault too.  She argues that they should be held accountable for their stupid decision to go on the run; he says she forced them to.  Adrian comes back and tells them to stop arguing; Chloe storms off.  She goes into the Club where she ends up talking with Dario; they seem to hit it off and he suggests she stay in town, offering her a job as a singer to entice her.  She accepts.  Abby talks to Adrian for a minute and then leaves.

After taking Ari to school, Lucas and Adrian get a room; he tells her he doesn’t want to pressure her, because he knows she’s still healing…but wants to let her know that he wants her more than ever.  She smiles.  She tells him she wants to be with him again more than he can know, but she isn’t used to her new body; she begins to cry.  Lucas tells her he will wait as long as she needs; they kiss.  Rafe talks to his brother and Dario tells him about the immigration issue; Rafe says he’ll make some calls.  Dario says he’s done enough; he tells Rafe he is going to fix this himself.  Abby comes back and tells Dario that she will marry him; at least she’s willing to give it a try, she says.

Gabi is back on the Kariakis plane; JJ tells her he has another flight back home for her.  She gets mad that he is trying to tell her what to do and runs off the plane again; Eli tells JJ that he just sent her running straight into Chad’s arms.  Hope and Chad have coffee; he lies to her about having the amulet.  She tells him she just doesn’t want to see him get hurt; he says he knows who he is and what he wants, with or without Abigail.  Gabi happens to show up at the table at that moment.  She tells Hope what she and the others are doing here; Hope says she is going to go see if she can help.  She mentions the curse of the amulet before leaving the table; Gabi asks if she really said “curse.”  Chad shows her the amulet and explains; after he tells Gabi about his plane having engine trouble, Gabi tells him he needs to get rid of the amulet right now.  He gets a phone call; she takes the amulet out of the box and gets a creepy feeling.  JJ steps off the plane to make a phone call; Eli sits down.  Lani tells Eli that she thinks he and Gabi could be good together; he decides to go look for her.  Chad comes back to the table and asks Gabi if she wants to go take an actual tour of the town; she says that sounds nice and they go.

JJ and Lani talk on the plane; things start to get romantic, but JJ puts the brakes on.  He tells Lani if it happens, he wants it to be perfect; she questions the “if” and he changes it to “when.”  Hope boards the plane; she tells them if Deimos is really working with Xander, it will take all of them to bring them in.  She suggests they go get some rest and says she’ll watch the plane; she calls Rafe.  She tells him she thinks she stopped Chad from what he was going to do there, then tells him that Deimos is there in Greece.  He tells her about Dario’s problem and wishes her luck.  As Gabi demonstrates a dance she learned from a local man, she twists her ankle; Chad picks her up and carries her back to the hotel.  When they get to his room, they see it has been trashed; a man jumps out from behind the door with a knife.
