Nicole spends most of this episode sitting at a
table in the bar, talking to Dario about her predicament and remembering the
encounter between her and Diemos. Good
news, bad news, she tells him… the good news is that Diemos may very well be
dead – the bad news, if they find his body, she is going to prison. Kate pays Aiden for phony marriage
certificate documentation; a good sum, which he plans to use to help Chase get
out of prison. They wish each other
luck. Aiden runs into Rafe in the
square and brags that Hope has gone out of town to figure out if she could give
him another chance. He’s pretty much an
ass about it. He then goes to the
hospital and tells Chase that he is going to have him change his plea to Not
Guilty by Reason of Insanity; Chase agrees.
Hope comes back from her trip within a day and announces that she has
figured things out; she talks with Ciara, then Rafe, then Aiden – to my dismay,
the tells Ciara she might want to give things with Aiden another try and asks
if that would bother her (Ciara takes it almost too cool, telling her she just
wants her to be happy, even though she wishes Rafe were the one). Then Hope goes and tells Rafe how happy she
is that he’s always been there for her, but she just has to see if there
is anything still there between her and Aiden.
Come on, are you kidding me??
She has this beautiful, sweet, loving relationship with a man who is
already her best friend… and she’s going to throw it away to “see” if there is
something still there with Aiden?
Unbelievable! Now he’ll go
around with this cocky ‘I won’ attitude and Rafe is going to be sulking but
still trying to be Hope’s friend because that’s the kind of guy he is. Can’t we ever have a real-for-real TRUE LOVE
story in a soap opera anymore? Not
happy about this one either guys.
Guess
what else? Diemos lays on the
edge off the riverbank, bloody and battered (but not dead). Kate’s in for a surprise. Of course, Nicole is probably going to be
arrested and put through hell before Diemos bothers making his reappearance, as
if she hasn’t been through enough already.

Steve and Joey come to find
Kayla, only to be told that she and John went looking for them – Steve asks
Fynn how she’s been feeling, then tells Joey that she hasn’t been feeling
well. He explains to Joey about the
hemotoma Kayla sustained when Ava whacked her over the head. Kayla and John walk into the commune; Simone
greets them and says she should talk to the boy’s father more. She tells Kayla Joey was arrested.
The scene flashes to the police station; Rafe does not believe Nicole did this. Nicole waits in the interrogation room; she recalls her conversation with Diemos, where he tells her that she would have been bored with Daniel. She feels bad for failing Victor and Maggie, thinking she probably should have killed Diemos… as the memory continues, it’s Kate now doing the recollecting. She tells Diemos to go to hell, and pushes him hard. He hits his head on the tree and stumbles over the cliff. She sits down with her drink, smiling. She thinks she’s won. Nicole calls Belle to represent her.
Rafe comes in to question Nicole, off the record. Nicole figures out that Kate is setting her up. Kayla chews Joey out over the phone, then turns to Jade and Simone… she asks what kind of a woman she is, allowing these children to steal and get high. Imone tells Kayla an outsider knows nothing of their ways, their process – she can’t criticize what she knows nothing about. She tells Kayla that Joey veered from the family code, having a lapse in judgment; she claims this is a place of peace and tranquility. Kayla tells her the desert heat has fried this lady’s brain; /? Wednesday 06-08-2016 ALL ABOUT HOPE
Hope talks to Bo for quite
a while. Then she says it hurts too
much and tells him to go, but he doesn’t.
He makes her smile. Then he
takes her to the door; it opens – another ghost apparently, Larry. He asks for a drink and goes to pour himself
one. She tells him to get out; he says
she wants him here. She seems to
despise him… says he took her innocence, her girlhood. She says she is past this, she is over it; and orders
him out again.
After shoving him out the door, Hope recalls back in the day; she and Bo as young adults. They seem to bicker a lot; she bit him! They broke up a time or two, I’m assuming; now Hope recalls Stefano’s death. She feels as if she sold her soul the day she shot him; Bo asks what she’s going to do about that. Stefano appears, mocking her. She thinks she needs to turn herself in; Bo points out that puts Rafe and Roman at risk. They covered up her crime.

Hope walks into another
house? Puts groceries away. Roman tells Kate they are having search
and rescue drag the river; so far, no body.
He doesn’t appear to believe Kate’s story; Kate swears she saw Nicole
push him over the edge, dropping her camera just before it happened. Ciara comes back to hear the baby crying;
Chad is passed out cold with the monitor by his ear. Maggie tells Nicole she should have know she wouldn’t want any of
this. Rafe’s mom announces that she is
having some one come and stay for a while; ask for help cleaning out the spare
bedroom. Rafe’s mother asks him to stay
and welcome her friend who is coming to stay; he says he has nothing better to
do.
Justin checks in with Aiden; listens to his proposal to get Chase out of jail, taking it under consideration. Roman asks Kate for more details; Victor chews out Nicole, telling her he knew he couldn’t count on her. She is mad for Maggie’s sake. Justin gets a letter, a test, from Diemos; he destroys it as instructed. When Kate mentions Diemos wanting to take Nicole for a mistress on the side, Roman tells her that sounds like motive. He promises her he will get to the bottom of it. Ciara brings Chad in a sandwich; she admits that she feels better with Chase in the hospital, helpless, asking if that makes her a bad person. This must be their old house; Hope walks around looking at all the pictures of her a Bo, then decides to make a pro and con list. That’s actually a good idea;-),

where did Thursday and Friday go?
Teresa stresses out over work; Brady tries to calm the baby as she
listens on the monitor. Dario and
Summer play cards; he asks why she changed her mind about living with Maggie-
and hasn’t gone back to L.A. He accuses
her, with a smile, of still being a con.
Deimos asks Nicole to make love.
The baby won’t stop screaming, and Brady brings him out to Nicole; he
looks very frustrated. Dario says he
knows she has a thing for Brady; she denies and says it wouldn’t even matter
because he is so tied up with the mother of his child. Dario says “We’ll see” and in return she
accuses him of falling hard for Nicole Walker.
Kate watches Diemos hold out the ring he was going to give to Helena; telling Nicole he wants her to wear it (which she sees as a consolation). She says she wants a man who’s free; he says Kate is a simple alliance to give him standing and power. But he needs her, Nicole; he needs love. He tells her all she has to do is say yes. Brady offers to take the baby out to the park so Teresa can work. Dario admits caring about Nicole, then suggests that they get together, like before apparently. They go at it. Kate records, from the bushes, as Diemos grabs Nicole by the head having figured out that she was playing him. Nicole struggles to get free from his grasp at the edge of a cliff.
Kate continues taping with her phone. She breaks loose and quickly leaves; Kate comes out from behind the bushes; Diemos suggests they still get married. Summer tells Brady she has feelings for him; he tells her he feels a connection, and maybe in another life. Kate pushes him, and Diemos hits his head on a tree; bleeding, he falls over the edge of the cliff. Kate calls out to him, as if she doesn’t know where he went. Kate assesses the situation; she finds one of Nicole’s earrings and decides what to do… putting on the ring from Diemos’ pocket, she gets out her phone. Kate calls the police station and tells Roman that she has witnessed a crime.

Alright, so Kayla and Fynn
are stripping now; I guess they are going to make love irregardless of what
they said earlier. Nicole sits alone at
a table, having a drink; Dario comes in.
Diemos returns home to find rose petals on his floor and a bottle of
champagne on the stairs. Kate awaits
him. John is on the phone with Paul; he
asks how he’s feeling. As a guy sits
down at the table with him, Paul says he is feeling much better. Steve and Joey run into a back room to hide
when police came in; he tells his dad he swears he didn’t know that they were
robbing the place when he drove the get-away car. Says he did steal something for Jade –just must not have been
good enough for her. Hmmm.
Kayla stops Fynn; he apologizes. Doesn’t want to take advantage. She says she doesn’t want to hurt him, being ambivalent and confused. She goes to wash up. Fynn goes to leave, putting his shirt on; John is at the door. The guy tells Paul that his parents said they have known since he was five; just waiting for him to figure it out for himself. Then he asks Paul to go out with him. Kate and Diemos toast their union with a glass of champagne… then she asks him if he is ready to go to Vegas. She has the plan ready and waiting. Issuing the stipulation that he never see Nicole again, she claims to be looking out for him – tells him Nicole is playing him. However, she refuses to sign the pre-nup. She tells him she wants him; says he ‘moves’ her more than any man she’s ever known, sharing the same perspective on life. Like money, crave power. He smiles at her like, I think not.
Fynn invites John in and then stands there awkwardly while John sits down and asks if he’s read any good books lately (as he stares at Kayla’s pants on the floor). Joey bursts out of the room when he hears Jade being harassed by the police; he tells her he is sorry. She says she’s sorry he didn’t fight harder. The police ask Joey for his name – he tells them. He confesses. Kate tells Diemos that, together, no one could stop them. He agrees to go get married and tells her he better not regret it. She goes to shower and he answers the phone; it’s Nicole. She invites him to the park… he says he has some place to be. She tells him he can decide if he still wants to go, or not, after they meet. He looks intrigued. Paul turns the guy down, telling him it would kind of be an ethical thing (aside from being ‘too old’ for him). Nicole waits in the park for Diemos with a Champagne glass in her hand; tells him she knows he doesn’t trust her, but he made her feel something she’s never felt before and she’s scared. Sorry all! Had to do a residency this week... will catch you up ASAP.
So as Chase lies in the hospital bed, Aiden stands in the doorway. Ciara recalls Chad teaching her to play chess, and smiles – he comes in to pour a drink. Jade and Joey find an abandoned shed; with a black eye from his fight with the boy from the commune, he tells her that his dad won’t give up looking for him. Steve tells Jade’s aunt he is going to turn her in to the police… Kayla hugs Fynn goodnight; they have a moment. Jade dares Joey to prove his love for her by breaking some rules. Hope sees Aiden and runs the other way, then apologizes when he catches up with her… he explains to her that Chase is still his son, he knows what he did was awful, but he still loves him. As he walks away, Hope grabs his hand. Rafe walks up just in time to see this.
Fynn admits being attracted to Kayla, but agrees not to make anything of it. Joey breaks into a store. Hope calls Rafe over and Aiden excuses himself; she tells Rafe that she is confused. He says he understands that maybe she still loves him; he tells her he loves her, but he is also her friend, suggesting that she take some time for herself. Chad passes out on the couch; Ciara covers him with a blanket – then snuggles down beside him as she fantasizes about kissing him. Joey doesn’t end up stealing anything from the store and Jade gets mad at him, telling him he just as well go back home to his daddy. She says his parents raised a ‘good boy’ and she wants nothing more to do with him, kissing him goodbye. She tells him not to follow her; he looks devastated.
Rafe is eating salsa. His mother knows that is not a good sign; she starts harping on him about Hope being nothing but trouble. He leaves. She calls somebody and tells them to come to Salem ASAP. Hope tells Ciara she is going to go away for a little while, although she doesn’t know where. Ciara goes back in to tell Chad she needs to go somewhere; she puts the baby monitor next to him. He says he’ll be ok. Kayla gets another headache; Fynn is worried about her. Rafe wants to call Hope but resists. Ciara shows up at the hospital. Kayla wakes up; Fynn begs her to wait until morning to leave again. She hugs him, crying about being a terrible mother. He tells her he will never leave her; they kiss. Joey goes back to the commune and finds his dad there; Steve tells him he needs to leave that place and he says he wants to come home. Police sirens sound.
