*Sincerest apologies... too many pots in the fire;-)
Ciara can't believe that Theo has been lying to her this whole time; she begins to cry as he explains. He and Wyatt were in computer class together; Wyatt wanted a girlfriend and Theo thought he was doing something good for Ciara. She’s mad, thinking he figures she’s such a loser she couldn’t find a boyfriend on her own. He just wanted her to be happy, he swears, it wasn’t that at all; but now, she says, she doesn’t know if it’s even real, this guy she fell so hard for. Wyatt and Claire just stand there, watching. Ciara asks Wyatt if it’s true; he just says he is sorry. He says it shouldn’t matter if they don’t have all that stuff in common; he tells her he wasn’t lying when he said he liked her. He believes they have “chemistry” and tells Ciara that’s all that should matter; she tells him she never wants to see him again and walks out the door.
Theo goes after her. He finds her on the park bench; he apologizes again, admitting he was thoughtless and senseless. She points out that he was lying and scheming; he says he didn’t see it that way. She sees it as a lack of respect; he apologizes again. He reminds her she is his best friend; he says he just really wanted her to be happy. She says he must see her as needy and weak; he brings up what he and Claire have and Ciara finds that insulting. She realizes Wyatt was just using her, and says he must have thought she couldn’t attract a decent guy; she says she is embarrassed and fed up, and sick to her stomach. He sits down by her and tells her that he didn’t feel any of those guys on the site were good enough for her; he says he got to know Wyatt and he thought he might be the “right guy” – she asks if he still does, calling this a sick little game. He says after he saw how much she liked him, he hoped it would just work out; he points out that he did finally tell her. She says she should have known that something was up because it seemed like Theo didn’t like him; Theo says he doesn’t like him, not after he saw him taking advantage of her.
Ciara says everything about Wyatt was perfect and she thought she was falling in love with him, when really she was just falling in love with Theo; Theo asks what she means. She tells him to come on, she says he knows how she feels; she mentions the letter – he asks what letter. She tells him, “the one where I told you I still love you.” Claire puts lunch in the fridge and tells Wyatt he can go; he says he wants to stay and see Ciara. He doesn’t think it’s that big of a deal; he says he really likes Ciara. Claire chews him out for being fake; he says Theo is the one who sold him out, because deep down he is in love with Ciara… not her. Claire tells him he is wrong; she says she makes him happy. He tells her she hasn’t heard the way Theo talks about Ciara; he speaks of her like she’s God’s gift. He says it seems like she is his girlfriend; Claire blows up on him and pushes him out the door. She tells him to stay away from all of them.
Theo tells Ciara he never got her letter, questioning the statement that she still loves him; she tells him she put the letter in his backpack two weeks ago. She says she hoped putting the words on paper would help her move on, and she thought it did after she met Wyatt; she says she worked so hard to get back to a place where she could trust people, and feels like she’s back where she started. She tells Theo, “you WERE my best friend…(he questions the verbiage ‘were’) I don’t know you anymore,” she adds. Theo reaches over and takes her hand; he says he would never intentionally hurt her. She jumps up and says maybe she just is a pathetic loser who doesn’t deserve to be in love; she says he talks about how well he knows her, but he doesn’t know her at all. She walks away; he screams for her to come back and says she just has to forgive him. When Theo gets home, Claire asks why he couldn’t even tell her about Wyatt, since she is his girlfriend; he just responds with, “I really screwed up – what if she never forgives me.” He walks into his room; Claire just stands there.
Nicole stomps around the room, angry that she isn’t on that plane with Holly; Eric asks her why she came back. She tells him it sure wasn’t because she cares about him; it was because of Brady, she says. He would be devastated if she showed up there without him; she screams at him, “I hate you, damn it, I hate you.” She figures the pilot has taken off by now and she will never see Holly again; Eric tells her things have a way of working out when you least expect it. He mentions his talk with Chloe before leaving; Nicole says her “being open to the idea” of shared custody is a trick. Eli, JJ and Lani wait on the plane; Paul and Sonny take pictures. Paul calls JJ; he says he’s sending photos of a guy who was meeting with Deimos. JJ is going to try to get an ID; Deimos is pissed when he looks in the box and sees that the amulet is missing. He is glad to see that a flash drive, with “valuable information” is still inside. Nicole is surprised when Eric tells her he has moved back to Salem and is working at the Horton Center; she tells him he doesn’t have the right to counsel anyone. He tells her he is sorry she feels that way. She says she didn’t need his help, obviously not considering the plane he brought , which she needs to get off the island, and tells him she can’t wait to get back to Brady and never have to look at him again. She blasts him again for his actions that night and brings up Daniel’s death; he tells her they need to work together here, and this time she needs to trust him. JJ gets a name for Sonny; he and Paul are going to follow the guy. They trick him by asking where a restaurant is; Paul grabs him and puts him in handcuffs. Nicole and Eric start screaming at each other; she says she is going to kill him. Xander, coming out of the shower in a towel, hears them and goes in the room; Eric grabs him and starts punching him, again and again. He better make sure he’s incapacitated this time. Nope… Xander’s assistant comes in and saves the day. Nicole tells Xander she saw a text that said, “just finished the deal - will pick up Nicole tonight.” Nicole begins to think that Deimos and Xander are working together; Eric recalls Deimos telling him he wanted to save Nicole from Xander in Canada. She wonders what Deimos has planned for her. He says Deimos is planning on “riding in on his little horse to rescue” her; she questions what she is going to do. Xander talks with Deimos; he asks what he wants him to do with Eric. Deimos says nothing; he wants the pleasure of taking care of him all to himself. Back on the plane, Lani and JJ try to get some answers out of Deimos’ accomplice; he doesn’t seem to be talking.
