Deimos is on the phone with his henchman; he
is pissed Brady gave him the slip. He
tells him to find Nicole, soon; he says Chad DeMira isn’t going to be so
lucky. Sonny demands to know what
Deimos is talking about; Deimos tells him that Chad stole from them and he
needs to man up and chose sides because only one family is going to survive
this. Sonny says he is the future of
this family; Deimos says they will see about that. Paul tells Sonny that Deimos definitely has something big and
secretive going on, but he’s not sure it has anything to do with Chad; Sonny
says after Chad stole those artifacts, Deimos is bound to go after him. Paul says he hopes they can stop Deimos
before he hurts Chad; Sonny swears they won’t let it go that far. He says they will send Deimos back to prison
before he actually hurts anyone.
Chad is embarrassed by Abigails non-appearance; he excuses himself to track her down. Dario shows Chad Abby’s purse; he says it was scattered on the ground, like there was some struggle. Gabby tells the man that this is getting really old, as he shoves her into a room; she asks what she is doing there, and hears Abigail say, “the same thing I am.” Abigail is tied to a chair. Sonny steps into the living room to hear Deimos ask if “it” is done; he says Chad is about to see how personal a war against him can get. The man ties Gabi to a chair as well; she asks Abigail if she’s okay and they discuss how they each got there. Gabi says she put up a pretty good fight and tells the man she hopes his scratches get infected.
Chad tells Dario what he has done to piss Deimos off. He goes to finish his speech and tells everyone that his wife got called to more pressing matters, their one-year old son; he thanks them for coming and donating, tells them to drink and have fun. Eli offers a toast to Abigail, and Chad lifts his glass; Chad thanks Eli and says he has to go. Chad gets a test telling him to go to Warehouse 8 on the docks, alone, or Abigail will be killed; he looks horrified. Abigail tells Gabi this is because of the business deal Chad made with the man they danced for; Gabi is confused. Abby tells the man he should let Gabi go because she has nothing to do with Chad; the man says that’s not what he hears. Chad runs out of the building and gets knocked over the head by another man; when he comes to, he is also tied to a chair, between Gabi and Abigail. The man is putting an IV in both Gabi and Abigail; Chad asks what he’s doing. Deimos comes over the loud speaker, voice disguised, of course; he tells Chad, he has a choice to make.
Abe interrupts JJ and Lani again, just as they are about to kiss, on the park bench in the square; JJ excuses himself. Abe tells his daughter that he is grateful she decided to stay in Salem, and knows JJ is one of the reasons she stayed, he just doesn’t want her to make a big mistake. She tells him she is happy Valerie is staying in town for him; he says that’s what he really wants to talk to her about. He asks her if she would talk to Valerie’s son, about the fact that his mother lied to him about his father all these years, having been through somewhat the same thing. She and JJ go to the fundraiser; Eli greets them and tells them the party is pretty much over. Lani explains why she is there, and does her best to share her story with Eli, but Eli just gets offended and tells her he doesn’t need her advice, because her father is still alive, and his is dead. Dario fills JJ in on the fact that Abigail, and Chad have both disappeared, and says he is pretty sure whoever has them, has Gabi too.
‘The voice’ tells Chad he has woven a tangled web; he says these two lovely ladies want him to make up his mind and stop stringing them along. Abigail tells ‘the voice’ that’s not what he’s doing; it replies that it is trying to help them out. It says there is a fast acting poison in both IV bags; it will start injecting soon. He says there is a vial with the antidote, but only one does; Chad has to chose which woman to save and which to sacrifice, leaving a child motherless.
