Monday 03-28-2016

Abby talks to one of the crew watching the house, as a storm seems to be approaching; Chad is headed off to a corporate meeting.  Abby locks the door behind him.  Where did that guard go?  As Abby holds and sings to what is obviously a doll, she hears noises and sees the door shaking.  Abby nervously hums; JJ arrives.  He goes to ‘check the house’ again.  Abby puts the baby in his carrier and hears more noise.  She looks in the drawer at a gun; closes the drawer.  Picks up the baby again (now it’s a real baby) and turns to go up the stares.  She hears the door; a dark figure stands in the doorway.  It’s Chad.  So the plan is to make Ben think Chad is gone; Abby goes to put Thomas to bed (who appears to be a doll wrapped in a blanket again.  Of course, the power goes out.  She sits down to feed him (real again) as the storm rages outside; a window pops open… as she stares at it, the lightening reveals a man’s shadow outside the doorway behind her.  Chad and JJ hear a noise; is it just the storm? JJ goes to investigate. 

As Abby goes the lay the baby down, she sees the shadow.  What it just a stuffed gorilla?  I don’t think so.  The phone rings; when Abby answers it, there is just heavy breathing.  She hangs up; her mother calls back saying she had just run up the stairs to close her bedroom window – had a bad connection first call.  Abby really starts to get spooked when she calls for Chad and JJ and neither one answers; she puts the baby back in his carseat.  She grabs the fire poker and runs into the other room; when she comes back into the room with the baby, she sees Ben outside the French doors.  She runs out of the doors swinging the poker and screaming at Ben.  She almost hits JJ; she tells Chad she saw Ben out in the garden.  JJ goes out to check.  He finds nothing.  Abby swears she saw him.  JJ talks to Abby to remind her how she used to keep him safe and calm; tells her she’s strong and she can do this.  JJ gets a call of a possible sighting and goes to meet the team. 

Alone in the house with Thomas, Abby sees a shadow cross the wall; she gets the gun out of the drawer.  Chad comes in to see Abby holding the gun up; asks what she’s doing… takes the gun and goes to look.  Abby hears the baby mobile.  When she looks in the carseat, Thomas is gone – Ben is standing there, holding the baby.

Summer allows Maggie to come in and talk; Maggie apologizes again.  She asks Summer not to leave town – Summer wants to know why she gave her up; Maggie takes her time explaining that she was lied to (told that the baby was dead).  Nicole seems to be enjoying her conversation with Dario as they have coffee together.  Deimos looks at his scar in the mirror; after a phone call he goes to see Victor.  He tells Victor he wants to end the war between them, supposedly, because of Kate.  Victor scoffs at the idea.  Dario asks Nicole if she ever considered getting away; she says she can’t because she just started a new business (and she wants to stay in the same apartment because of Parker).  She contemplates how unfair life is.  Maggie tells Summer that her father never even knew about her – he left before he knew she was pregnant – and she never knew his last name. 

Belle and Philip talk; she tells him about Brady’s upcoming party (to which Philip was not invited).  Belle encourages Philip to crash the party.  Victor tells Deimos he will have to ‘show’ him that he has changed; he asks what he has to do, and Victor tells him to leave town and never come back.  Nicole asks Dario about his father.  He tells her that he used to kill people for a living.  Maggie tells Summer that her being there now is a gift, and she is thankful to Daniel for it.  Summer describes her life to Maggie; some of it not so good.  She explains that she was a troubled child; had a strained relationship with her parents at times.  She also admits to Maggie that she had stolen things as an adult and has spent time in jail.  Philip tells Belle he wants to start a new business, producing records for new artists who are getting hits on the internet; she tells him his first client should be Claire. 

Dario wonders if everything happened because his father came back to town – Nicole asks if he doesn’t want to give him another chance.  Dario says there’s no way in hell he’s getting another chance from him.  Maggie and Summer have a nice talk; Maggie gets dizzy again when she gets up to leave.  Summer gets her a glass of water.  Maggie leaves her with a hug.  Deimos tells Victor he wants an apology from him; Victor looks shocked.  Belle and Philip seal their deal with a kiss.  Deimos explains that he wants an apology for the thirty years he spent in prison for killing Helena, when Victor was the one who did it; Victor just stares at him.  Maggie walks through the square, where Nicole and Dario are talking, and almost falls down.  They insist on taking her home.  Deimos is watching.  Claire is hesitant but agrees to make a record with Philip’s new company.  Summer is afraid that Maggie doesn’t really like her.  Victor looks at an old picture as he stands by the fire.

Thursday 03-24-2016

Maggie is looking for Victor; he is taking care of business.  He runs into Brady in the square; Brady tells him he has a big announcement to make tonight.  Victor hopes it doesn’t have anything to do with Teresa.  Rafe’s mother (Adriana) is upset when she finds Eduardo at the hospital; he admits the kidnapping was his fault.  Eduardo tells Adriana he owes her a debt of gratitude; she says she wants nothing from him, and doesn’t know why the kids have anything to do with him.  Victor goes home and tells Maggie about Brady’s big announcement plans.  She tells him she has something to talk to him about too.  Nicole is having trouble being happy for Teresa; but she assures her that she is, and that they are friends.  Gabi made it clear that she wants her dad to stay; Rafe says he needs time…he’s not sure what to say.  Maggie begins to talk to Victor; they get interrupted.  It’s Brady.  Maggie apologizes for running out of the room last night; she tells Victor that Summer is her daughter.  She explains that she had a baby when she was very young, but she had been told the baby was stillborn; Brady explains to Victor how he found Summer.  Victor says even if she is Maggie’s biological daughter, she is probably after something. 

 

Hope talks to Rafe about Ciara; she tells him she doesn’t know what she would ever do without his friendship.  He assures her she doesn’t have to worry about that because he will always be there; in walks his mother, and he introduces her to Hope.  Maggie admits that she was feeling guilt and shame…and feels even more so for the way she run out on Summer – abandoning her, again.  Maggie asks Victor for his support, not suspicion.  Maggie feels faint when she stands up; she takes a pill.  Feeling better, she says she wants to go out for some air.  Maggie talks to Julie in the square; she is still confused about her feelings regarding Summer.   She resolves Daniel brought her the daughter she never knew she had, but doesn’t know how to accept her.  Julie tells her to listen to her heart; “it will never lead you astray”.  Rafe’s mother begs him to make sure Eduardo leaves town; she says he will never change.  Teresa is nervous about the big get together, for the announcement of their engagement; Brady tells her she is going to win them all over – just like she did him.  Yuck.  Maggie shows up at Summer’s hotel room door; she tells her she’s sorry about last night and says they obviously need to talk.  I think there might be some chemistry between Nicole and Dario (is that who Brady calls “Finn”?).  Eduardo is planning to leave the hospital.  Hope gets a call; Chase has been let out – he runs into Ciara in the park.  She tells him to stay the hell away from her.

Wednesday 03-23-2016

Chad and Abby appear to be back from their honeymoon, and she is still obsessed with Ben coming to seek revenge on them.  JJ and Gabi talk; JJ tells her he likes being her personal bodyguard… she is concerned for everyone’s safety.  Marlene, Rafe and his mother come into the hospital.  Rafe wants her to be checked out.  He tells Kayla that Steve will have John and Paul there soon.  Paul is not in good shape.  He passes out, and when he comes to, he seems fine.  They take him for tests; Gabi arrives at the hospital and is greeted by her mother, as is Dario, who agrees that Eduardo needs to leave town and never come back.  Even though Kayla told John he needed to be tested too, John and Marlena head home; he fills her in on Yo Ling’s plans.  Gabi goes to visit Paul; he is acting strange after she leaves and as he falls asleep, sounds and images from his brainwashing come to mind.  Is it too late to save him?  Kayla is glad to see Steve, although she is still torn between loving him and being unable to forgive him; he tells her he may not be able to beat the murder charges and asks her to go on the run with him.  Chad comes up with a plan to trap Ben.
