Shaun and Kayla talk about
cutting back pain medication on a patient who seems to think he is ready to be
released. Steve comes into the hospital
angry that Kayla didn’t tell him Joey had been arrested; he can’t believe that
she thinks what’s best for Joey is for him to stay away. Joey and Jade talk about their plans to
still move to Los Angeles. Rafe asks
Hope if she wants to have lunch in the square; she calls to check on Ciara
first… Ciara refuses her call. She’s
babysitting and talks to Thomas about how annoying moms can be; she tells him
the hospital is going to make his mom (Abby) better and she will be home soon
(adding, “I hope.”) Chad calls to check
on Abby and the doctor tells him that her recovery is going to take some time;
they cannot put a time limit on it.
Abby is in bed, talking with the therapist; she mentions Ben, and Abby
asks if the door is locked. When the
therapist presses her for information, Abby insists she just doesn’t remember
anything.
Chad comes home; apparently
Ciara has been talking about dropping out of school – he tells her, no matter
how good she is with Thomas, he will not keep her around if she leaves
school. She promises to stay in
school. Hope tells her dad about the kids’
antics and upcoming court hearing; he tells her it’s ok to be unpopular with
her for a while… she’ll come around and say thanks one day. Ciara meets with Claire in the park and
suggests getting a place together; she says when school is out she’s going to
work for Chad full-time (if she can) and she figures Claire will be getting a
record contract. Joey and Jade show up;
they all talk about spray-painting the judge’s car – and how they are (or
aren’t) sorry about it. Jade blurts out
that Joey killed Ava; the girls look surprised. Joey tells Claire and Ciara that he and Jade are leaving town;
they hug him and tell them to stay in touch.
Joey sees his mom in the square and asks her if she is okay…she says she
just had a tough night. He apologizes
to her for what he’s done and tells her how much he appreciates what she’s done
for him; he says he’ll never forget that and hugs her goodbye, telling her he’s
heading home.
Abby tells her therapist
that Ben was in her room last night and told her that this used to be his
hospital. He sat down on her bed, with
a neck-tie, she said, and he put it on her neck and she couldn’t breathe – she
knows he was going to kill her. Chad
walks in on Ciara telling Hope that she wants to move out… he tells Hope he
could use some full-time help and has a guest-house on the property that he
would be happy to rent out to Ciara; Ciara asks if Claire can share it with
her. She runs out to call Claire. Hope tells Chad she knows he a good man, or
a girl like Abigail would have never fallen in love with him. Joey goes to see Steve; he tells his dad he
can’t stop seeing Ava, and this guy (who is him) pushing down the pillow, her
fighting back, and then she just stops… Steve suggests he see a therapist. Joey says he should have told the truth; he
thinks that would have been better than who he is now. He tells his father he is sorry, then asks
for an asprin and stuffs his dad’s leather jacket in his backpack. Steve comes back in a tells him his mom is
worried about him and Jade; Joey claims he is starting to think that’s not
going anyway, then hugs his dad and tells him he loves him and leaves.
Hope tells Rafe she has taken his advice and
is ‘taking a step back’, letting Ciara move out. Ciara comes home to find Theo waiting for her – she says his dad
is going to be mad; he tells her he doesn’t care… he is not going to let his
dad stop him from being with – he tells her he loves her, always has. Joey meets up with Ciara on his motorcycle
and they hit the road. Chad goes to
visit Abby; he tells her he hopes she can come home soon. She looks over Chad’s shoulder and sees Ben
sitting in the other room – she said he’s not going to let her come home.

Teresa strolls through the square, pissed off at Brady, pushing
the stroller with the baby – she says he woke up in the hospital with Daniel’s
heart and had a hero complex. She
accuses him of being obsessed with Summer and she’s on the bottom of the list
of the women who matter. Brady tells
her she sounds like her mom. Meanwhile,
Summer gets an unexpected visit from another man from her past. Kate finds out about Nicole’s resemblance to Helena and isn’t happy about it. Victor and Maggie get released from the
hospital and move into their “suburban townhouse”. Maggie wants to invite Summer to move in with her and
Victor. She hopes Summer will believe
that she regrets giving her up as a baby… Maggie asks Victor to just pretend
everything she wants is alright with him and asks him to keep his big mouth
shut. He says he is interested in
knowing Summer better (and learning her thoughts about Aristotle’s theories of
virtue).
Maggie asks Victor who was on the phone; he admits it was Justin wondering how they are adjusting to their “reduced circumstances”. She tells him to quit lying to her and demands to know if it was about Deimos. Nicole is at Deimos’ when Kate comes in; Kate asks if he is intending for her to take over Basic Black… but she reminds him that Nicole has her own company to run. Deimos suggests he buy “DJ Wear” and roll it into Titan (then they will all be one ‘big happy family’ as Deimos put it). That’s funny. Abby wakes up in the hospital and thinks she sees Ben standing at the foot of her bed… he is dressed in a hospital uniform, just staring at her.

As Nicole sleeps, she dreams
of being with Deimos – in a sexy negligee, with her hair up in curls, they kiss
– then he says, “tell me what it is you think your’e gonna get from me.” She wakes up with a start, and finds that
same sexy negligee lying on her floor, next to the bed. She realizes she is late for a meeting with
Teresa and Brady. Brady is asleep on
the couch; Terersa wakes him. He said
he couldn’t fall asleep in bed because he is worried about Victor.
Victor has a conversation with Justin on the phone – admitting he has bank accounts Deimos doesn’t know about – and the lease on a condominium is almost finalized. He says, “it’s not a mansion but it’ll do”… Victor tells Justin to make sure Deimos still thinks he is in charge. Week of 04-25/29-2016
Apologies to my followers... rough week. My daughter had car trouble, I had to get my grandson to and from school - on top of taking my son to and from work almost every day. Classes started up again Thursday, the sun was shining and I HAD to spend some time tending to the yard, and to top it all off, my nephew has fallen off the wagon again (having come to live with me two years ago after living on the streets of Las Vegas, Nevada, hooked on heroine since the age of fourteen). (Monday) Theo continues to hit Mark again and again (for forcing a kiss on Ciara) and has to be pulled off. Man, that kid would be hurt. Theo’s tough! Marlena talks to Belle about wanting to see Erik; Belle tells her she can take her in with her, since she is his attorney and can see him anytime she wants. She says it’s odd to have Belle fixing things for her, as she is normally fixing things for her – then asks what’s the matter. Theo’s dad speaks to Lani about prom; he doesn’t want Theo to be disappointed, if Ciara doesn’t see him the way he hopes she does – she says he has to let Theo figure this out for himself. He calls Theo and leaves a message for him to meet him at the pub when they are done decorating. Theo and Ciara talk; he says Mark was an “ass” and Ciara laughs, saying she’s never heard him talk that way. He then offers to walk her home, but she says she has plans with Claire to do something; he asks if they are still on for prom. Ciara says yes… she can’t wait.
(Tuesday) Rafe brings in microwave popcorn, diet soda and says for 80’s ambiance they need to fire up the VCR; Hope says that sounds great. They find a CD to watch instead though, and share a laugh – commenting that it is good to laugh again. Jade texts Joey “can’t stop thinking about u…”; he says the same… she says she’s picturing him naked; he responds SAME. Chad comes home (now Jennifer and JJ are sitting with him); they ask how Abigail is. Abby is in her hospital bed, terrified; someone is making moaning and groaning sounds – she covers her ears and tries to sleep.
(Wednesday) Everyone is at prom; Ciara thanks the DJ for the opportunity – he tells her thanks, because he’ll make millions when the hit goes viral. Theo and Ciara dance; she tells him thank you for what he did earlier and he tells her he would do anything for her. Mark stands in the corner, drinking from a liquor bottle. Theo and Ciara are voted king and queen at the prom; but something went wrong – technical difficulties with the video (but was it really sabatoge?) A picture of Chase and Ciara comes up on the screen instead… Ciara is mortified and horrified. It’s suspected Mark has something to do with the ‘glitch’; he had the access and the know-how.
Summer comes to visit Maggie. The nurse is rubbing her legs, stimulating them to increase blood flow; Summer asks if she could show her how to do it, so she could help Maggie as well. Kate sells Basic Black to Deimos (or, rather, Titan Industries) and he makes her CEO. Nicole tells Victor she has decided that she will help him take Deimos on a one-way trip to hell… she decided after visiting him, saying he is an interesting guy, cagey crafty, vicious and proud of what he did to Maggie. But what sold it was the story of Helena; if she becomes her ghost, Nicole thinks she can bury Deimos. Victor smirks, slightly, that they are “jumping into bed again”; she says no, they are going to talk terms. Rafe and Hope kiss on the couch, forgetting about the movie; they decide they want to make love and move toward the bedroom.
(Thursday) Philip walks in to see Victor… Victor says he forgives him and welcomes him back to the family, they shake hands and all the machines start beeping erratically; Philip wakes up, to his father’s machines beeping. The nurse tells him to leave. During the prom, someone painted an obscene word on Mark’s dad’s car. Theo is trying to explain what happened, saying it was all a result of what that guy did to Ciara – Theo tells Mark to explain to his dad what he did (turns out Mark is the judge’s son, no less). So the judge believes him when he says he doesn’t know what Theo is talking about; then makes an ugly remark about how half the kids in school “can’t figure this weirdo out”. Theo’s dad takes offense to that remark, to which the judge agrees. However, the judge says that the kids were found with spray paint matching the obscenities painted his car so someone needs to go to jail – Ciara comes in to say it’s her responsibility. Then every one else steps up to say they all did it (Joey, Jade and Claire). Belle tells the judge it is apparent that his son has something to do with what provoked this, but he blows her off. The kids are all taken to jail.
(Friday) Belle asks Philip to marry him and he is surprised… he turns her down; he then tells her that he wants to, but it has to be for the right reasons. He fears she may change her mind in ‘the light of day’. She swears he is wrong and leaves angry. Nicole is on her computer, still investigating the woman of Deimos’ past whom she resembles when Dario sits down at her table. Nicole fills Dario in on what’s going on with Deimos and Victor – she says “the mark is already suspicious” but she thinks he may be able to help. He warns her not to fall in love; she swears her hate for Deimos will never change. Deimos sits by Victor’s hospital bed. He grabs his nose and tells him he doesn’t need his forgiveness; Helena’s death is Victor’s fault, alone, he says. He gloats about having all of Victor’s money and power, rendering him helpless and pathetic telling him it’s time for him to roll over and die. Victor says never. When he leaves, Justin and Brady come to visit Victor… Justin may have a plan to get back at Deimos once and for all. Victor makes it clear Maggie is to know nothing of it.

But he tells her Theo needs help figuring out how to navigate circumstances and he doesn’t think Theo should be involved with Ciara as much as he has been right now; Hope is shocked. She argues but he won’t change his mind. Hope waits for Ciara to get arraigned. Shaun and Lani decide to take off together; no sense waiting around. They have a stake-out to get to. Kids probably won’t be arraigned until morning. Belle calls Philip for help, who is still concerned about his dad – no one will tell him anything yet. Rafe tells Hope the kids are ok, tucked away in their cells; at least they are safe. Joey and Jade hold hands through the cell bars – he thanks her for standing by them. Ciara and Claire laugh about the situation they are in.
