Philip comes to see Maggie;
she is walking on crutches now, a few hours a day. She invites him to come by the house later; she wants him to work
on his relationship with Victor. Gabi
and Rafe have breakfast together; she tells him she is concerned about the
convicts being lose, because JJ is the reason Clyde went to prison. She asks Rafe to keep an eye on JJ, saying
he’s been a little impulsive since Abby’s death. As John and Marlena sit down to nice breakfast, Eduardo knocks on
the door; he said he made a horrible mistake and needs his help. He tells him, the wreck was his fault – he
was undercover, assigned to take out another prisoner; he had no idea who the
other three were. John tells him he
will do whatever he needs to cover for him; he makes a call.
In the warehouse, Xander does some manly
pushups; Orphius sends him to get a bag of supplies dropped off by a friend of Clyde’s. Xander is growing anxious. Orphius tells him they are going to plan,
pick a target and then make their move – and watch everybody squirm. Claire has snuck out to meet with Chloe,
even though she was told it was too dangerous to be out with the convicts on
the loose; she lies to Chloe, saying John and Marlena know she’s there. Marlene tells John she is going to get
her. As Philip and Maggie talk, Diemos
interrupts; he tells Philip that he would like to have him move into the
mansion as well; Philip is stunned.
Diemos tells him that these prisoners are dangerous, Xander is a
psychopath, dreaming of killing every member of the family, and he wants him
AND Chloe to move in – to be safe.
Philip wants nothing to do with it; after Deimos leaves, Maggie asks
Philip to reconsider.
Meanwhile, Deimos
has Dario looking around Chloe’s apartment.
He finds her tablet and sees a scheduled doctor’s appointment; he takes
a picture of it. He hears someone at
the door. As Rafe and Gabi hug goodbye
at the diner, Eduardo walks in. Gabi is
ecstatic to see him; Dario comes in and is not so much so. Rafe asks why he was late for breakfast; he
says he was working, yells at his dad and leaves. Eduardo goes after him and hears him saying goodbye to “Mr.
Kiriakis.”
Marlena is extremely upset
with Claire for not telling them she was leaving; she tells her maybe she
should go live with her parents in Hong Kong.
Claire refuses. When Philip goes
to see Chloe, he tells her about Deimos’ offer, and says he thinks they should
do it. Reason #1, he says, they could
rub it in Deimos’ face – play the loving couple; and reason #2, because the
baby is a Kiriakis and that could make her a target for the convicts – she asks
if it may also be to try to fix things with his father. He admits that would be a bonus; and asks if
she would consider it, to pay him back for turning his life upside down for her
