Brady asks Teresa if she
is sure she doesn’t want a big wedding; she says, yes… she is sure – she wants
City Hall. They laugh about how they
are not the same people they used to be; they grew up (yeah, whatever). Nicole has taken over a bridal shower,
originally planned by Anne (but Anne had a family emergency, apparently); Eve
Teresa’s sister, shows up. Nicole tells
her that she doesn’t think Teresa is going to show; Eve says she will go get
her. Even though they were about to
“turn in early,” Eve talks Teresa into going out with her for a night on the
town. Brady gets a letter from Eric;
the girls sit down at a table with cake and champagne. It all gets to be a little too much for
Nicole and she goes outside for some air; Brady shows up. Nicole cries; she feels she ruined this for
Teresa. He tells her they understand
that this is rough for her; but he has to tell her he got a letter from Eric,
he is trying to make amends. He asks if
she can forgive him; she asks if he can.
She says she couldn’t if she wanted to.
Brady goes in to get Teresa and they head home. Teresa and Eve have one more glass of
champagne.
Victor says Kate is probably
wondering how she can spin this; wondering how much they know… she laughs. Victor says it’s time to pay the piper. She denies it of course, says they are just
trying to point the finger at her to take suspicion off of them. Deimos tells her it didn’t work; the
Kiriakis gravy train was coming to an end when he came back from the dead, so
kidnapping Tate was her way of putting Deimos and Victor at each other’s
throat… but she ended up uniting them.
They tell her she should be scared.
Deimos tells her Nicole did some digging and interviewed a man named
Titus, the sole purveyor of the drug that was given to Teresa; he remembers the
‘women’ who bought it… saying she was a
friend of “bettsies” (high priced call girls who sell drugs to their
clients). They say she fits the
description, has it out for them, and hates Teresa; she says Teresa is nothing
more than a slight annoyance to her.
She says she’s not listening to this anymore and starts to leave, until
Deimos tells her he has proof. Victor
tells her that he talked to Titus himself, and he is willing to testify in
court… they have the transaction on video.
Kate finally admits to taking Tate, saying he was never in any danger; Victor is
pissed she put Brady through hell; she says she is tired of Kiriakis men and
their arrogance. She tells them that
she found some interesting things while she had access to all kinds of books
and information hidden in that mansion, threatening to turn them into
“Interpole”, if they call Roman to arrest her for the kidnapping. They tell her she may be able to blackmail
them, but she won’t be able to stop Brady from turning her in. She suggests they do their best to make sure
that Brady doesn’t find out. She
proposes they find a fall-guy to pin it on (and fast, she adds).
Milo (Orphius) tells Clyde that they can
work together, but he better not get in his way. He quotes Stalin, and Clyde is a little taken back; then they
laugh when Milo says destiny seems to be on their side. Clyde carries on about how the people in
that town all think they are better than anyone else… he guesses Milo hates
Marlena Evans the most – says even when she’s smiling, it looks like she smells
something bad. Milo vows to wipe the
smile off her face, with John watching; then the scene changes to black and
white again. It’s Steve and Kayla;
Steve shoves Milo, and they run up a set of stairs… he shoots at them. He says there are many more too.
Joey talks to his parents about how lost he
feels; that he feels like he can’t ask them what’s going on, or if his dad’s
coming home…apparently they keep him in the dark about everything. Steve swears he’s trying. Kayla stands up to leave after she gets
frustrated with the discussion, and almost passes out; Steve grabs her as she
is falling and tells Joey to call the hospital. Joey feels responsible for his mother being in the hospital now,
but Steve says if he hadn’t called that family meeting, she could have been
alone when it happened. Kayla wakes up
from her surgery to see Steve and Joey there; calls them her “family
unit.” Steve says that the doctor said
it all went perfectly; she’ll be her old self in no time and he wants that more
than anything. She tells them she is
glad their two faces are the first thing she saw when she woke up; they both
promise they will still be there later.
I guess Brady and Teresa changed their minds about spending the night
together before the wedding; he brings her home, kisses her goodbye and says
he’ll see her tomorrow. Clyde
introduces Milo to Victor’s nephew, Xander, who tells Milo he is willing to help them because he wants revenge on
the little bitch who came onto him and then said he attacked her – Teresa
Donovan.
