Gabi brings Ariana to see
Sonny in the park… he mentions how much Ari has grown; then he mentions JJ, and
Gabi kind of flips out, saying he has only called her once the whole time he
has been in Miami. Sonny defends him,
saying he’s going through a lot, emotionally – she says he should call someone
who cares to help him through that. JJ
gets home; he tells Julie he’s sure Gabby is mad at him because he didn’t stay
in touch. Julie tells him to drop her;
apparently she does not like her, because she killed somebody named Nate way be when. He asks her to back off.
Victor asks Maggie about moving in with Deimos; she says she
doesn’t need a fancy room in their old East Wing, all she needs is him. Deimos calls Victor and tells him he needs to see him immediately… For whatever reason, when Julie comes to
visit, she tries to talk Maggie into doing it; she gives her all kinds of
reasons and then tells her that it would be a chance for the brothers to bond,
and that she is the glue that will help heal the crack in that
relationship. Maggie is uncomfortable
to hear that. Maggie says she is
worried about them fighting; Julie tells her in the end that doesn’t really
matter… maybe they could learn to love each other (to learn what brotherly love
is).
Chad calls Kate and says he needs
her help; he tells her about the problem with Dimira Enterprises…it is in
shambles, most are only borderline legal, and the bookkeeping is all over the
place. He wants to make big changes, in
order to keep a promise he made to Abby.
She agrees to help him. Laura, Jennifer’s
mom, shows up in the doorway and tells him it’s a mistake to ask Kate Roberts
for anything. Chad is a bit confused
about the anger between these two women; Laura reminds him that she once stole
the corporation out from under his father.
Chad suggests that she leave, after Laura brings up the men Kate has
slept around with, including her husband.
She continues to rant that he is becoming the man he father would be
proud of, and tells him if he had checked Abigail into anywhere other than
Shady Hills for treatment, she would have been alright. He excuses himself from the room, leaving
the two women standing there. He ends
up running into JJ in the square and asks him if they can try to get along, for
Abby’s sake; JJ agrees.
In the park, JJ
tries to explain to Gabi why he didn’t call, where his head was and he tells
her that he missed her like crazy; even though she says she missed him too, she
pulls her hand away when he reaches for it.
Still, she almost kisses him, but hears her alarm and has to go pick Ari
up from ballet class. Milo gets moved
in with Clyde’s cell; Clyde tells him that he is arranged it… he says he is consumed
with hate, and he just may know a way to make Milo’s dream come true. He tells him he has a few scores to settle
in Salem, himself; Milo suggests may it well happen.
Deimos tells Victor that he found out who Titus Drew sells to;
they say it was staring them right in the face this whole time, but they were
too busy pointing fingers at each other.
They say it is time to confront Tate’s kidnapper; they show up and Kate
Roberts is waiting in the park “to meet somebody.” JJ talks to Laura about his trip to Miami and the fact that no
bodies were recovered… she comforts him; after he leaves, Laura makes a voice
memo on her phone; a reminder to call somebody about Abby’s body not being
found – she believes Abby was in full control of her faculties at the time of ‘her
death’ and maybe they can’t take it at face value. Chad tries to call Kate to apologize for the way Laura treated
her, he leaves a message and tells her he really needs her help in order for
this to work; he asks her to call, but she is busy with Victor and Deimos at
the park. Victor tells her they have
some unfinished business, and asks if she really thought they wouldn’t find out
what she did. She tries to leave, but
Victor stops her.
