Commissioner ‘Abe’
receives confirmation that Milo Harp is Orphius – and that he was not the dead
man in the van. He tells his officer
this man has killed a lot of people, and he wants to kill a whole lot more;
they need to stop him. Everyone is
terrified as they look at this man, holding a gun to Eve’s head; Brady is
horribly upset when the man tells him that he dropped Xander off at the
apartment before heading over there.
Paul steps forward and tells Orphius that Eve is poor bargaining chip;
he suggests he take him instead.
Orphius asks why he would want to do that; Paul tells him, because he is
John’s son. He agrees and makes the
trade, ordering some of the guests to leave the house (everyone except Paul,
John, Marlena, Victor and Maggie). John
tries to talk to him, but he says he is going to kill all of them, one by one.
Meanwhile, Teresa wrestles with Xander, screaming
for him to let her go. She tells him
they will come looking for her, but is horrified when he tells her nobody is
coming, thinking he did something to them all.
He tells her he hasn’t (not yet), but it’s next on his to-do-list. She starts apologizing for claiming he
assaulted her when he really didn’t (it was all a set up to make Brady
jealous); he doesn’t want to hear her apologies. She tells him he should run while he can, go to another country;
she offers to give him money. He
touches her face, then grabs her neck, shoving her up against the mirror – he
says all he wants is to watch her die.
She struggles, then kicks him in the balls and runs for the door, just
as Brady gets there – Xander takes off, and Brady runs after him.
Eve and Nicole go straight to the police
station and tell Abe what’s going on at the mansion and at Teresa’s; he orders
two swat teams into action. Nicole and
Eve talk about how losing someone you love changes you; Eve says she is just
trying to live a life that Page would be proud of now. Nicole commends her, assures her she is not
going to lose Teresa. In the end, they
decide they really like each other and want to stay in touch.
Victor tells Milo (Orphius) that he could
give him enough cash to get him through the rest of his life; tells him he
doesn’t want to leave a pile of corpses in there or he’ll be hunted down for
sure. Milo says he doesn’t know what he
wants; he shoves Paul forward and points the gun at Victor. Maggie stands up and steps in front of
Victor, saying he will have to kill her first.
She gets tired and sits back down after just a few moments. Orphius can’t figure out who he wants to
point the gun at now, he keeps moving it around from one to another; Paul jumps
on him and they wrestle to the floor.
The gun goes off; sirens blare in the background.
The police arrive at Teresa and Brady’s;
Brady comes back, saying Xander got away.
They tell him to stay there; they will go look for him. Brady tells Teresa about the events
happening at the mansion. She calls
Nicole and then talks to Eve; as they go to leave, Nicole sees Xander’s “wanted”
poster and flashes back to one of her struggles with him, then rushes out the
door. Sweet… when Philip hears what
happened, he rushes back to the mansion, comes in and hugs Victor – and Victor
hugs him back. They talk, and it
appears that the feud is over. Abe
tells John he has an ambulance waiting to take him to the hospital; Marlena
tells him she is worried Orphius won’t stop until he gets what he wants (them).
