So Teresa tells Brady she is going to
shower and trying not to throw up, stopping to catch her breath after rounding
the corner. Brady picks up the bag of
pills. When she gets out, she pretends
to be looking for them and he shows her that he found them. He tells her this is crossing the line; she
looks at him defiantly. She tries to
convince him that she has never really stopped drinking; and says she got the
pills when Tate was kidnapped, because she needed them. He questions why; she tells him because he
wasn’t enough. He looks hurt, says he
was hoping this was one of her games, but he sees that it’s not; he leaves the
room angry. She takes a breathe; “well,
he believed it,” she says. He flushes
her pills down the toilet; she says lucky for her she bought in bulk. He grabs her purse and dumps it out; the
necklace Mateo gave her falls out.
Brady asks who gave it to her because he doesn’t recognize it; he
demands to know, now. She says she
bought it, with money she skimmed off the top of DJ Wear; he tells her to take
it back and she says no. She tells him
he needs to go, but he refuses; he says he took vows in this room, and he’s not
going to forget them… she tries to convince him that she was stoned out of her
mind when she made her vows. He tells
her she needs help; she says she is getting the hell out of there. He can’t believe the way she is acting. She goes to the diner to meet her mother,
crying about how hard it was to make Brady think she was on drugs again. She begs her to tell him the truth; she says
she can’t, she has to do this. Brady
calls Teresa’s mother and tells her she has fallen off the wagon again; she
tells him she thinks he needs to know the truth.
Chad strolls through the square with Thomas; he drops a little
stuffed bunny. A woman, with long
(blonde) hair, whose face we are not shown, stops and picks it up.
JJ tells his mother that he hates himself
right now; he can’t believe he got drunk and slept with someone he doesn’t even
remember… he says he needs to get some air and decides to take a walk around
the block. When he opens the door,
Sonny and Gabi are standing there. They
ask where he thinks he is going, as he is supposed to be resting; he says he
was just going to walk around the block.
Gabi says he can’t walk out on his own party; a celebration of him. They brought a box full of hats and flowers…
and an old video game system. Sonny
demands he put on a hat before they play.
Paul shows up at the door; Gabi invited him. The guys all sit down to play video games; Jennifer tells Gabi
that she hopes she understands JJ may never be the same after losing his
sister. She says she understands; they
break for donuts. The blonde-haired
woman watches the party through the window; Chad tells Gabi Mr. Bush wants them
to meet him at the square for lunch. JJ
doesn’t look so happy about that, but tells her to go. The woman steps away from the window as they
turn to leave.
Andre reveals that
Abigail asked him to help her fake her death, so she wouldn’t be a burden on
Chad and the baby; he asks Laura how Abigail disappeared on her watch… he hangs
up and says he has to find her before she does something stupid. Gabi and Chad hug in the park in celebration
of their deal-closing; the same long, blone-haired woman watches them.
Abe is going to be released, but the doctor
tells him she wants to do one final echocardiogram before she signs his
discharge papers; he agrees, and tells her that he wants to take her out to
dinner before she heads back to Washington, D.C. She agrees. Theo stands
at the door. The doctor asks if he is
ready to take his dad home; he says he sure is. His dad tries to get him to apologize for being mean to the
doctor after he says she almost killed him; he refuses and she says he doesn’t
have to. Theo goes to talk to Claire;
he tells her that he doesn’t like Dr. Grant and he doesn’t want her taking his
mother’s place. Claire says maybe he
should do something to make sure that doesn’t happen. He isn’t sure what that means.
When Theo talks to the doctor, she tells him that he is part of the
reason his dad is going to be fine; she can tell how much he loves him and
love, she believes, is the strongest medicine.
Sounds sincere; but then he overhears her telling someone on the phone
that she was in New York right now; he wonders why she’s lying. He decides to follow her.
