Victor tells Deimos he is lucky that
Chad isn’t the monster he is; at least he didn’t kill him or attack his
family. He mentions Brady being gone and
Deimos asks if that means he took off with Nicole; Chloe steps in and asks
Deimos what he is going to do about it.
Deimos asks her what she knows; she confirms that Brady is with Nicole. She knows they crossed into Canada, she
tells him; he says they won’t get away with this. He then tells her that this is all her fault and tells her to get
lost. Chloe says, for once, at least
Nicole made the right choice; she tells him she is glad she wasn’t wrong about
him. Chloe tells Maggie about Brady leaving with Nicole; she says is actually relieved, because even though she doesn’t trust Nicole to take care of Holly, she does trust Brady. Maggie tells Chloe she could still offer to share custody with Nicole; Chloe says it’s too late. She says Nicole doesn’t want to live on the run, reminds her that the custody fight was only because Nicole was with Deimos; she’s not anymore. She says she wants to see her granddaughter again. Victor tells Maggie that he wants their granddaughter home too, and is concerned about how much Brady is risking.
Victor runs into Eric in the park;
he tells him what he thinks of him and that not everyone is happy that he is
back in town. He says they will never
forgive him for killing Daniel. Jen
sees Maggie in the square; Maggie compliments her dress. Jen tells her she has a date, with Eric;
Maggie doesn’t look happy about that.
Still, she says she did tell Eric to go forward with his life and be
happy, and if what he wants is her, she understands; she questions the baggage
though, the fact that she loved Daniel once too, and had addiction problems. She asks if she thinks it’s a good idea; Jen
says she doesn’t know, but feels they have to give it a chance and see where it
leads. Jen sits down on the park bench,
to wait for Eric, I guess; he doesn’t show, she goes to see him, he blows her
off and says he is sorry. She says she
is not giving up. Eric throws his
picture of Jennifer in a garbage can in the square.
Brady tells Nicole that he and Tate want to stay with her and be a family; she says it’s
not fair to him, or Tate. Brady says
what isn’t fair is what’s happening back in that town and her losing her baby;
he says Tate will have two parents who love him and want to be together and are
happy, asking what’s wrong with that.
Their neighbor knocks on the door (Hillary) and this time, she brought
her husband “Scooter” – she notices Tate and asks who that is, questioning why
they hadn’t mentioned another child.
They ask why she didn’t mention a husband; she laughs. Scooter and Brady go to get drinks; Nicole
asks about the book… Hillary says she knows he’s not really writing a
book. He is looking at porn; she says
he thinks she doesn’t know, but she’s a cop, she says nothing gets past
her. Nicole smiles a sheepish
smile. They go to get dinner, demanding
a dinner party together; after they leave, Nicole tells Brady about Scooter’s
pastime; she says that’s where he’s seen her… watching porn. He tells her he will protect her, and he
thinks they can be a happy family; he wants to be there and to have her in his
life. He says, only if she can tell him
there’s not chance in hell for him and she didn’t feel anything in the kiss
they had, he will take Tate and head home.
She can’t tell him that; so he says, it looks like they are in this for
the long-haul.
Abigail looks mad when Chad walks in the door; she tells him that
Hope came by earlier and told her that Deimos had been beaten up and that Chad
is responsible. She asks him if that is
true; he sort of laughs, and says he gave him a small taste of his own
medicine. She says this isn’t funny;
Chad gets angry and says, no it’s not.
She fears more retaliation, ending up with someone dead. She reminds him that he said he wouldn’t let
anything happen to her, and it did; he tells her Deimos agreed to “no more
violence.” He asks her if she trusts
him or not; she says yes, but that doesn’t stop her from worrying. They go to see Gabi; she is surprised to
hear they were there before. Abigail
gets a call about business; she leaves Chad and Gabi to talk. He says he doesn’t know what else to say
other than goodbye; Gabi looks down.
Andre comes to see Gabi; she asks what the
hell he is doing there. He says he
believes she poses a threat to his family, as she is in love with his brother; he
reminds her that Chad is married to someone else. Andre tells Gabi he will do whatever is necessary to protect his
family; she assures him that nothing is going on between her and Chad and tells
him to get out of her room, adding “and out of my life.” Andre goes home to find Abigail there alone;
she tells him she left Chad to talk to Gabi… he doesn’t think that was a good
idea. She assures him that she trusts
Chad; Chad is telling Gabi what he said when he was there before, that he knew
in his heart that he could count on her to catch that vial. She agrees, they are always in sync and
always have been; he asks if she is going to be alright. She says she will be fine. Andre tells Abiail he understands that Chad
went to her first, but, he adds, Gabi is still alive; she says that almost
sounds like he wishes she weren’t. He
laughs, not at all he says… he just wants Chad to remember that she is his
wife.
Chad
gets home; Abby is waiting patiently to hear what happened. He tells her they are letting Gabi go home;
she suggests they do something nice for themselves after all this mess,
mentioning the second honeymoon they never took, and says she would like to
renew their vows. He agrees to set a
date. Then he recollects all his
memories with Gabi, and telling her he loved her for the first time; Gabi is
thinking about it too, as she waits to be discharged from the hospital. She cries.
