Chloe makes the call to
911 (while standing in the park), reporting a dead body in Adrian’s apartment;
she gives the room number, but refuses to give her name. She turns around to find Eric standing right
behind her. She asks what he heard; he
says just something about her not wanting any trouble. She tells him some lie about Dario and not
wanting to get involved; she asks what he decided about his feelings for
Nicole. Nicole and Brady go for a run;
he tells her Deimos can’t hurt her anymore.
She says she could still lose Holly because of him; she asks what
happens if it comes out that she killed Deimos. She brings up the bribe Deimos made with the judge; Brady says
the deal died with Deimos. They discuss
whether or not they should tell Justin; Justin walks in. He tells Nicole that her court date has been
moved up; they are to meet the judge in his chambers today. He calls Eric to testify about her community
service; Chloe shows up to court with Eric, wishes Nicole well and leaves. Eric watches, as Nicole and Brady share a
kiss, after discussing what they will do when they get Holly back. Justin comes out and tells Nicole, “the
judge knows what you did.” She looks at
Brady in horror.
“Marlena” says she didn’t do anything to John, claiming her heart is broken too; Paul asks her why she kissed Roman Brady. He then tells her that was the last time anyone saw John; she says, “hmmm.” He questions her response. She says he should “take it like a man” and Paul tells her she is being extremely selfish; she says, “onward and upward,” to which Paul is astonished. He says that doesn’t sound like her at all; she claims to just be a little bit frazzled. He asks again about the last time she saw his dad; she describes their conversation and claims that John said he was going on another ISA mission. Paul knows she is lying. He tells her they work together and John would never leave without telling him; she says she doesn’t know what to tell him. She asks why he looks so sad; he says the last time John left for a mission, he had asked him to go – so he feels it’s his fault they broke up. She tells him, it wasn’t just the last mission, it was the one before that, and the one before that; she says it’s three times and he’s out. She’s “calling this game.” She gets up and leaves.
John talks Marlena through a mind exercise, telling her to imagine being in his arms again; she does. John tells Marlena that he thinks he’s come up with an idea about how to get out of there; she smiles. He tells her his plan, saying he has a few tricks up his sleeve; he tells her he is going to “bust” them out of there today. He manages to wiggle out of his straight jacket, then talks Marlena through the procedure; it is difficult for her, but she finally succeeds. He considers a plan to get her out of her room; she says maybe he should just go and get the police and come back for her. She says she can’t wait to be in his arms again; he tells her he may have a way to make that happen… he stares at the vent cover. He reaches his hand through the slats and tells her to do the same; their fingers touch.
Hope and Rafe find Myron at the Club; Rafe tells him, they are on to him. They tell him they know Raines cam to see him yesterday and they want to know what he said to him; Myron says he just wants to see Dario’s records. Rafe tells him to ‘fess up, asking what he was really talking to Raines about. They get him to admit that Raines wants him to manufacture evidence against Abe; they tell him to do exactly as Raines has asked of him. Myron is shocked and asks if this isn’t entrapment; Rafe assures him it isn’t, since Raines is the one who made the request. Myron tries to leave, but Hope takes his keys; she goes to talk to him, alone. Hope tells Myron she knows he isn’t a bad guy; she promises him, if he helps them, he will get a second chance. He says okay; they shake hands.
Chloe goes to the Club and finds Rafe; she says she is kind of looking for a job (singing) but he tells her all of Dario’s assets have been frozen. He gets a call about a dead body; when he turns around to talk, she disappears out the door. Raines comes into Lani’s office and asks if she has something to say to him; she tells him, she wants to apologize. She tells him she isn’t investigating the case, just hoping her father is exonerated. JJ tells Raines that he isn’t so sure Abe is innocent; he says if he had anything to do with running his sister down, he deserves to rot. JJ tells Raines if there is anything he can do to help with the case, just to let him know. JJ explains to Lani that he is just trying to get Raines to trust him; Raines comes in and tells JJ he has to go to a meeting and he leaves JJ in charge. JJ tells Lani, he thinks his plan is working. Hope and Rafe come back and tell them that Raines is about to dig his own grave; Raines makes a call to Myron. He says he’s at the Club; Myron said he had to run some errands. Raines asks if everything is still a go; Myron says, “yes sir, almost ready.”
