Jennifer, Adrienne and Julie
(?) arrive to help Abby prepare for the wedding; the room is decorated, chairs
awaiting guests. Abby has flashbacks of
Ben leaving the cabin with Thomas, she and Chad prisoners, their bed
ablaze. Chad walks in and hugs her,
noticing she is upset. He offers to
postpone the wedding; but even though she was the one wanting to leave just the
other day, now she says no one is going to take this from them. John and Eduardo drink the suspicious liquid
in the thermos and a door opens, showing Marlena, holding Arianna in her
arms. John tells Marlena to run – she
hesitates – he tells her to get out of there.
She does. Gunfire erupts. Theo asks Ciara to tell him what she did to
Chase; she tells him ‘nothing’ really; Hope discusses the charges with Justin
(the D.A.)… he tells her Ciara will be put on trial. Julie gives Abby her ‘something old’, a poem written by Abby’s
grandpa; ‘something borrowed’ comes from Adrienne, a necklace, with a picture
of Abby’s dad in it. Mom (Jennifer)
gives her a new penny, for luck, and a preserved batch of violets Abby picked
as a young girl, as her ‘something blue’.
Chad finds Gabbi at the police department; a team is now at the
warehouse.
John shoots one of the
gunman who falls from the rafters – Eduardo jumps in front of a bullet meant
for Rafe. John disappears. Rafe tells Eduardo that Marlena and Arianna
made it to the hospital; they are safe… he then calls Gabbi. Chad asks Theo to stand in as his best man –
Theo agrees, as long as Ciara comes.
Eric shows up for the wedding.
After Chad tells Abby that their planned best man and bridesmaid aren’t
going to be able to make it, he gives her a gift (Thomas’ birth certificate);
he went through special channels to get it, since he wasn’t born in a
hospital…and made his last name ‘Devoreau’ – said the name Dimira never did him
much good. Theo talks to Ciara about
throwing a party for her birthday; she has a flashback and flips out on him,
takes off. John comes to, chained to a
pipe, in a room with surgical equipment… greeted by an old man, who claims to
be his father (Timothy Robisho?), also calling himself “Yoli” (Chinese for
‘phantom’). Tells John, “look closely,
these are your eyes.” Abby enters the room as the wedding music starts; Chad is in awe. As they begin the ceremony, Abby sees Ben through the window.
